hey preeti.. same her too :( extremely dry skin.. working in AC makes it all the more worse :( i discovered “Body Shop Vitamin E cream” its a small round box type.. it would be mentioned as “for dry skin” [p.s. there is same kinda cream for all skin types too] it did wonders.. :) i applied once in the morning and till evening my skin was moisturized… rarely i had to re-apply.. it might be a little expensive for the amount of cream that comes in the box.. but totally worth it.. try it :) hope it helps you !!

hey preeti… this is one for “all skin types” … the one i said is specifically for “dry skin”… the packaging looks similar for both (all skin types has black color lid and dry skin has pink color lid and it costs around Rs.880-Rs.900)… i guess it has not been reviewed yet.. check it up with body shop store SA.. they will help you about it :) it is in the Vitamin E range products :)

L’oreal visible difference… Oriflame Vit E cream… Amway Attitude toners (they have three variants… specific for each skin type)…

Homemade – Rub potato slice all over the face and wash off after a few mins…

Amway Artistry Hydrating toner or rose water either from Fab india or dabur gulabari (that spray bottle one) or try other variants from fab india especially for dry skin. all these are good but personally I am a real big fan of the amway’s artistry range. expensive but effective and lasts long.

Amway is expensive but believe me… the results are awsome (in all their products)… and the subtle smell will make it a habit for you to use it… and it will effortlessly fall into routine…

That is something very important…. you should be really looking forward to applying any product… even when you are lazy or tired…

I agree. Rose water acts as a toner too, plus it is acts as a refreshing drink for your skin. Get Fabindia Rose Water Facial Spray. You can use it as a toner and also spray it lightly just before applying face packs or at the end of a tiring day. It’ll remove the dullness from your skin. I have been using it since 3 months..and loving it! :)

hey shruti.. thanks :) but i want to know the purpose of using toners ? how is it helpful ? it has to be followed after cleansing right ?

Shruti January 30, 2013 at 12:28 pm

Sneha, toners are used to removing any residual dirt on your skin after cleansing and for ph balancing on your skin. Plus it closes pores and prevents oiliness. Very good for oily and combination skinned ppl. Its also important to use toners that dont contain alcohol. For dry skin, you can either choose a moisturizing toner or rose water.
