I have a habit of experimenting with shampoos and conditioners a lot. Therefore, I always pick up the smaller versions before investing in the full sized bottles. I came across this one while shopping online and I was a little shocked by looking at the price for such a tiny bottle. But, since it was from a very reputed brand and claimed of detangling and nourishing the hair, I thought why not! This is the first product that I have tried from this brand and therefore, had very high expectations from it. Let’s see if its claims are true or not!
Product Description:
Toni & Guy Daily Style Conditioner gentle conditioning for pre-styling. This light conditioner detangles and nourishes, leaving your hair moisturised and ready to style.
Directions:
After using Toni & Guy Daily Style Shampoo, smooth the daily style conditioner onto wet hair. Comb through and then leave for 2 minutes. Follow this by rinsing the conditioner out.
Warnings:
Avoid any contact with the eyes. If contact occurs then rinse immediately with cold water.
Price:
INR 275 for 75ml.
My Experience with Toni and Guy Daily Style Conditioner:
Packaging:
It comes in a red, sturdy plastic bottle with a white screw cap. Though, the packaging is travel friendly, it’s hard to squeeze out the product from the bottle. I have to keep dabbing it on my palm, but then a lot product comes out in one go and I have to put the product back. So, I have to say it’s a customer friendly packaging. I wish it came in a squeeze tube, instead.
Texture and Fragrance:
It has a gel like consistency that doesn’t drip and is easy to apply. It smells like a shaving cream, I am not sure why they would make a conditioner which smells like shaving cream! That is brutal. Luckily, the fragrance is mild and fades away quickly.
Performance:
I leave it on for two minutes after shampoo and the results that it gives are quite confusing. I am not sure what this conditioner actually tries to do to my hair! It does a good job on the detangling part and my hair feel smooth, but they don’t feel soft and nourished like they are supposed to feel after using any conditioner. Also, it doesn’t add even a bit of shine. I know it doesn’t claim to do so, but generally all conditioners adds a little lustre to the hair. I have naturally straight hair which are a little on the dry side and after using this my hair looks like I have got some cheap rebonding treatment done. They look smooth and straight, but totally lifeless!
The so-called smoothness lasts for two days and after that my hair starts to feel really dry. I have used this conditioner for over seven times and the results were the same every single time. I would rather have wavy and nourished hair rather than straight and lifeless hair anyday. And, you will have to use heat protectants anyway if you want to use styling tools. In fact, even such protectants provide better nourishment than this conditioner.

• Makes hair smooth and manageable.
• Travel friendly.
Cons of Toni and Guy Daily Style Conditioner:
• Smells like shaving cream.
• Does nothing to nourish the hair.
• Doesn’t moisturise.
• Doesn’t add any shine to the hair.
• Packaging is tricky to work with.
• Pricey.
• Gives an artificial look the hair.

Conclusion:
You can definitely skip this product. In fact, you should! It totally defeats the purpose of using a conditioner. There are so many options available even for lesser price than this. And, I believe such conditioners would nourish your hair better than this one. I’ll never repurchase this one and would recommend others to do the same. It’s a total waste of money.
