Today I’ll be reviewing the classic shine gloss serum by Toni & Guy. Surprisingly it was not reviewed on IMBB and I am big fan of serums, especially when it comes from a brand like Toni & Guy. Read on to know how this fared for me.

My Experience with Toni & Guy Classic Shine Gloss Serum:-
As you can see the packaging is simple and functional without much frills. The details about the product are mentioned on the body. The pump is good quality as the amount of serum dispensed each time can be controlled. The pump head can be twisted to lock/unlock which is a great thing for travel.
The texture is slightly runny but not watery. There is a typical salon-like smell to the serum which I quite like. The serum spreads well on damp hair but if you really want to see the effectiveness you have to apply it on dry hair. It is not sticky and does not weigh down hair at all.
For my frizzy hair, I find this to be a good option, mostly on days I do not wash my hair. It is lightweight, medium fragranced and adds the shine to the hair. In spite of having all the pros, I would not rate it as HG as this is not the best buy for thin and limp hair. This does not add any volume to the hair, thus I would not recommend this to people having thin hair.
Otherwise the serum is a pretty good one; lightweight, adds shine, affordable and mildly fragranced. What more do we really expect? Agree that it does not eliminate frizz or flyaways completely, but yes, they become a lot more manageable and “good looking”. I would continue with this as long as I do not find anything better at the same price range with similar qualities.

I love Toni & Guy serums. They are superb but I find the quantity a little disappointing since I have thick hair and need to use more product. Great to know that it controls frizz. Will buy it, but maybe just on discount.
