Since I have super straight hair, testing this one was really tough since I had to use it a number of times. Finally, I am done and the review is up. Scroll to read it.

My Experience with Toni & Guy Sea Salt Texturising Spray:

Packaging: The sea salt spray comes in a big cylindrical ‘dull-blue’ bottle with a spray nozzle. The bottle has its name written over it and totally resembles the “sea” or “waves”. The bottle is medium in size which is very handy. It costs a bit high but since sea salt sprays are rare in India, they are sure to fix a higher price. However, people staying abroad will get good cheaper alternatives. It has a spray nozzle which helps us to use it anytime anywhere.

Consistency, smell and feel on the hair: The consistency is just like water, runny and thin. But when sprayed I feel it has hints of something else which makes the hair greasy. If it was only water, then it would get evaporated but this leaves a bit of a sticky cast behind which can be noticed especially in thin hair. It weighs down my thin hair a bit but it will work fine for moderately thick to thick hair. It makes the hair a bit crunchy and hard but that is okay since it is required to hold the waves. I spray it all over my hair and scrunch it with my fingers to get those sexy waves. It smells brilliant. It totally smells like the name, beach-y and refreshing. It has that aqua hint which makes my hair smell great initially. The smell fades off with time.

Results: I get super sexy ‘beach waves’ which look exactly like those celebs who hit the beach with a fashion statement. They become perfectly wavy with curls here and there. This is one option you can go for whenever you want to play messy. But the sad part is that the beach waves last only for 2 hours in my hair and then my hair goes back to normal. But the lasting power will be more in thicker hair than mine. But it gives a nice volume overall which I like but on the other hand, it makes the hair a bit dry. So overall, a good sea salt spray in my stash but I don’t think I need this in my life!

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Toni & Guy Sea Salt Texturising Spray?
No not at all! I would probably curl my hair if I like loose curls but I don’t use this spray often. If you are a beach babe and want beach waves all the time, then go for it.
Conclusion: Toni & Guy products are pretty average; I don’t think they are worth the price.
