Tresemme Color Revitalize Protection Shampoo Review

Hello all,

Today, I am going to review the Tresemme Colour Revitalize shampoo. We do not get it for retail in India, but I got this from a vendor who provides international brands.

Tresemme+Color+Revitalize+Protection+Shampoo+Review

Price and Quantity:

690 INR for 946 ml.

Product Description:

The TRESemmé Color Revitalize system with Advanced Color Vibrancy technology helps keep color vibrant for up to 8 weeks*.  This system, with Green Tea, Rosemary and Sunflower, gently cleanses and conditions to help replenish vital moisture and keep hair looking healthy. Your hair color will be vibrant and long lasting, while every strand is soft and manageable.

Ingredients:

Tresemme Color Protect Shampoo

My Experience with Tresemme Color Revitalize Protection Shampoo:

I have used Dove too for colored hair, but was not very impressed. Somehow all Dove shampoos make my hair limp and my scalp oily after a prolonged use. So, I ditched that brand. When I saw Tresemme Color Revitalize Shampoo in the store, I did not think twice before buying this huge bottle because Tresemme products have gained enough attention in the Indian market and I have heard good reviews about them.

Tresemme Color Protect Shampoo 3

The shampoo is pearly white and smells great! It lathers well and not much quantity is needed for use. In fact, I oil my hair before hair wash and it cleans my scalp and hair very well. There is only one issue which I face with this shampoo, it dries my hair whenever I wash my hair without oiling them first. This works great with my colored hair, it looks rich and vibrant. I have noticed that whenever I use this on oiled hair, this works well and the great smell is a plus too.

Overall, I can say that this is a good shampoo for colored hair which keeps hair color intact and vibrant. The only thing which is not good is that if you have dry hair or if you oil less frequently, this is going to make your hair dry.

Pros of Tresemme Color Revitalize Protection Shampoo:

  • Very cost effective.
  • Keeps the color looking great for a long time.
  • Lathers well.
  • Does not give the oily sticky feeling on scalp like Dove does, I have oily roots so that is a definite plus for me.
  • Smells great!
  • Packaging is sturdy and practical, the amount dispensed is controlled.

Cons of Tresemme Color Revitalize Protection Shampoo:

  • Makes hair dry.
  • Is not yet available in India.

If you could find this, this is a good shampoo for colored hair. In India, we do not get many options and from my experience in spite of dryness, it is still one of the best and at this cost, it is a good deal!

A big no for me if it makes hair dry.

On no Arzoo, this one is definetely not for you, if it makes my oily hair dry, it will wreck havoc on dry hair.
