TRESemme Vibrant Naturals Nourish and Replenish Shampoo Review

We usually purchase shampoos according to our hair types and needs, but there is something that every woman needs in her vanity. And, that is a gentle cleansing shampoo! This shampoo looked pretty natural and hydrating to me and Tresemme has never really gone wrong with their hair care products, so this was a perfect pick for cleansing my scalp on a weekly basis. My Experience with TRESemme Vibrant Naturals Nourish and Replenish Shampoo:

The main reason I picked this up was because I use a lot of hair tonics and volumizing products which create loads of build-up. This claims to be very gentle and natural for the hair. It comes in a huge cylindrical black bottle which is heavy and sturdy actually. It comes with a press open cap which is a little tight. Hence, this can’t be called travel friendly. The shampoo is a little runny in consistency and is transparent since there is no added colour which means they have reduced a bit of chemicals in this one. The fragrance is a pleasant, fruity one and has a hint of  juicy watermelons.

The fragrance is pretty strong so my hair smells great the entire day. The formula creates good amount of lather which leads to effective cleansing of the scalp. It can rightly be called a cleansing shampoo as it removes all the product build-up and dirt very nicely. It is really easy to rinse off the product. It makes my hair pretty soft and silky, but every shampoo does that! Yes, my hair does not dry up, but I wasn’t very impressed with the results. It makes my hair manageable, but it does not control the frizz very well and that is what I actually need.

It claims to give me stronger hair after just one use, but my hair would still break even after three uses; although the breakage reduced a little. It claimed to be natural but the looking at the ingredients list, it doesn’t seem like that! So overall, I would say that it does a decent job, but nothing great so that I would switch to this one. I would just like to keep it on my shelf for cleansing once or twice a week.

Pros of TRESemme Vibrant Naturals Nourish and Replenish Shampoo:

• Huge quantity available at a very reasonable price
• Comes in a nice packaging with a press open cap
• The shampoo does not contain any colour
• The shampoo has a pleasant fruity smell which is pretty much like juicy watermelons
• It is very gentle on the scalp and creates good amount of lather
• It works as a nice cleansing shampoo that removes all the dirt and buildup
• Makes my hair manageable and soft
• My hair does not dry out
• Lesser sulfates than other variants

Cons of TRESemme Vibrant Naturals Nourish and Replenish Shampoo:

• Very average; does nothing exceptional
• Doesn’t control frizz that well
• Availability in India
• Heavy bottle is not travel-friendly
• Calls itself ‘natural’ but the chemical list is long enough to contradict

Would I Repurchase/Recommend TRESemme Vibrant Naturals Nourish and Replenish Shampoo?
No, not really! This did not see anything great which might convince me to get it again. It is a very ordinary shampoo, but yes I will use it at least once every week to clean product build up.

The other variants that we get in India are far better than this one. It is so gentle on our hair that it actually does nothing! 😛
