The Entrance
I have not had got a facial done from past 6-7 months. My salon lady got tired of asking me to come for a facial but I just somehow kept delaying it. Anyhow, I decided to take out some me time while at Jaipur. Rambagh Palace has Jiva Spa. I booked my appointment for the Tulsi Facial (meant for dry dehydrated skin). It was a 60 minute session.
As you enter the spa, they have a gorgeous indoor swimming pool. The therapist assisted my way to the changing room.
I was given a locker and a key to keep my belongings.
And then the fun started.
The spa rooms are located at the back of all the prettiness I had already seen. The beautiful luxury tents were the spa rooms. There were peacocks roaming around. There was a little water body in that area.
As I entered the spa tent. The ambiance was very soothing. There was a calming music playing in the background. I rested on the bed comfortably. The therapist dimmed the lights and started the procedure. It was a cleansing-scrubbing- scrubbing with a electronic scrubber – toning and face pack procedure. All the products were really mild and soothing.
This was such an amazing and calming experience that within a few minutes I feel asleep. I have never fallen asleep during my facials. And trust me I was not tired or anything or let’s say you sometimes don’t realize that you are actually tired. But kudos to the therapist who did such an incredible job at bringing me to rest. I woke up with a super soft skin and a peaceful mind. After I woke up she gave me water to drink. I asked her about the products and she explained about the products to me. All these products at the spa as well. You can purchase them.
Excellent Experience. I guess I’d try their Delhi’s spa as well.

Awww Ratiiii.. I badly want a facial now! and yahan toh koi achcha parlour bhi nahi hai.. forget spa.. 🙁 But you have explained it in such a way that I feel I am sitting in the room and getting the facial done! 🙂

Achcha Rati, I wanted to ask you one thing. I realllly want to buy a nice pair of bellies and I see many of them online. But I mostly wear churidars and salwars.. no more jeans n stuff now. So, do you think bellies look good with churidars? Since I am buying them online.. I cant really take a decision.
And haan, I gave in to your advice on that white/blue shades and instead opted for a light brown shade from FCUK. Got it and I LOVE it more than anything in the world right now.. Thankooooooooo :-* :-* guide me on the belly plz.

Can you mention what cosmetics they used for the facial . Were they are tulsi falvoured ?
i have mentioned that they use their own brand products. the products were a blend of lot ot natural stuff. one of them was tulsi.
it been a while since i pampered myself in a spa..after reading your yesterday;s post m soooo tempted..got to find a good package 😀

It looks sooo nice!!!! I also need a good relaxing spa session now ! I always doze off during my clean-ups or occasional facials 😛 One time I was sleeping for almost 30 mins with the pack on, i woke up cos of the stretchiness when it dried 😛 ..

this seems to be such a relaxing experinece. rati di do they have this feature in all their jiva spas? I am planning to visit the chennai one soon would surely check out the spa if it even half as good as these piccys!!!!!!!!!
