I hope you are all doing great! Today I will be reviewing a mascara for you guys called the Ulta Voluptuous Volume Mascara. My cousin sent a few Ulta products for me sometime back, and this was in there as well. I have used this for a while now; let me not spill the beans right away, read further to know what I feel about the product.

My Experience with Ulta Jet Black Voluptuous Volume Mascara:
Packaging:
I like how the packaging has an orange color to it, which makes it look nice sitting in my vanity. The packaging is shiny and pretty. For any mascara to work, I feel the wand has to be nice, and this has a pretty decent wand. In my opinion, half the worth of any mascara lies in the wand that it comes with! It has thin and smaller bristles which allow smooth application of mascara without causing it to clump.
Color:
The color of the mascara is indeed jet black, however it does not look over the top which I feel is very important. I don’t like mascaras that are too obvious and make your lashes look made up. It darkens them pretty decently; the curling effect is average as well.
Pigmentation:
As I’ve mentioned above, the mascara is fairly pigmented and delivers results. It doesn’t cause any clumping at all and looks nice on the lashes. However, if you need the lashes to look really pigmented, you need to layer up. Also it doesn’t come off easily, you need to work very hard while removing it (PS: it is not waterproof).
Staying Power:
I have used this mascara to college and to parties as well and it did the job really well. I wouldn’t say it lasts all day; a good six hours, I would say. I like the staying capacity, it being drugstore mascara.
Overall Verdict:
This Voluptuous Volume mascara, in my opinion, is an average product. I feel that the name is quite misleading, as people usually lay their hands on such products expecting a plumping and volumizing effect on their lashes. This certainly doesn’t live up to its name. The staying power and the color are something that I like about this product and this is good for a no-makeup makeup look. In my opinion, there are other drugstore mascaras that work way better than this one.
Pros of Ulta Jet Black Voluptuous Volume Mascara:
• It has a nice, shiny packaging
• The mascara wand doesn’t clump
• Good for day wear
• Staying power is great
• Has a jet black color
• Is decently priced
• Good for a no-makeup look
Cons of Ulta Jet Black Voluptuous Volume Mascara:
• Has a misleading name
• Needs layering up in order for the product to show
• Doesn’t make the lashes look plump
• An average product
• Needs a lot of effort while removing
Would I Repurchase Ulta Jet Black Voluptuous Volume Mascara?
I wouldn’t, as I feel there are oodles of mascaras available in the market that work better than this one for sure. This is an average product, and I really don’t feel the need to grab another one of this.
Would I Recommend Ulta Jet Black Voluptuous Volume Mascara?
Not at all, because I am in no mood to waste my money on it. I feel it’s better to invest in other mascaras than this one. This one is truly a disappointment, so stay away girlies!
