Hope you all are doing great. Ulta3 is one of the Australian drugstore cosmetic brands. With over 107 shades of nail polishes, 50 shades of lippies and a heap of eye and face goodies, we can pick a lot of budget-friendly products from this line. We can pretty much score anything from Ulta3 for under $10, which is a sweet deal. Today, I am going to review one of their Lip Pencils in the shade “Red Carpet”. Let’s get started.

A must before applying your fave ulta3 lipstick, these creamy lip liners are the first step towards a perfect pout.
Ingredients:
Isopropyl Myristate, Beeswax, Octyldodecanol, Ceresin, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Copernicia, Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Diethylhexylcyclohexane, Butylparaben. May Contain: D&C Red No. 6, Disodium Salt (Ci 15850), D&C Red No. 7 Calcium Salt (Ci15850:1), D&C Red No. 33 Al. Lake (Ci 17200), Mica (Ci 77019), Iron Oxide Red (Ci 77491), Iron Oxide Yellow (Ci 77492), Iron Oxide Black (Ci 77499), Titanium Dioxide (Ci 77891).
My Experience with Ulta3 Lip Pencil – Red Carpet:
Packaging: The Lip Liner comes in a typical color-coded pencil which needs to be sharpened when necessary. The pencil comes wrapped in a plastic wrapper. It doesn’t come with a sharpener, but we can’t expect that for the price they are offering.
Shade: There are around 8 shades in their lip liner range and I picked up the shade “Red Carpet “ which is a muted red color with brown and orange undertones. It is not a regular red but, more like a terracotta shade and it will suit a lot of skin tones. I am really impressed with the color.
Texture: The pencil is not very hard yet it is not very creamy; it is somewhere in between. So, it can break only when we apply a lot of pressure. The lip pencil feels waxy which was a major drawback. But, I feel very comfortable to use it to line and fill my lips.
Pigmentation and Finish: The pigmentation of the pencil is really good, one swipe gives you a full coverage. The pencil gives a matte finish to the lips which is an added plus. The lip liner can be worn alone without any lipstick as it has an amazing pigmentation. The product is very comfortable to wear and doesn’t tug on the lips.
Wear Time: This is one hell of a long wearing product as it lasted for a whole day and I was really impressed. It didn’t transfer much but, there is nothing to complain about. Overall, I will say that this lip liner is a great budget buy as it stays longer, offers a good pigmentation and is certainly a beautiful shade.
