Hope you all are doing fantastic! It seems UNE all over the blog today, but then the brand is lovely so why not? Today I am reviewing the UNE Cherry Lip Gloss for you all. I have reviewed glosses by UNE before too; check them out HERE and HERE. They recently launched the Cherry Lip Gloss range, which has some gorgeous pink/magenta shades!

Product Claims :

Ingredients :
-Organic cupuacu butter nourishes and softens lips and keeps them moisturized.
-Organic sesame oil. Also nourishing, it leaves the skin feeling soft and comfortable.
-Oily extract of tomato. Obtained by softening the leaves and fruit in sesame oil, it protects and nourishes.
-Castor plant oil delivers shine and promotes dispersion of pigments for homogenous colour.
-Mineral pigments. They guarantee pure colours and natural results.
-Natural tomato leaf scent.

4 light shades
These 4 nude pinks (SO1, SO2, SO3, SO5) are sheer with a delicate rosy touch to enhance natural lip colour and brighten the complexion. They are superb with very pale or very matte skin, striking eye make-up, and compliment a skin-toned dress or top.

4 deeper shades
With UNE you can dare to wear a deeper shade of pink without going over the top. Pinks that grow in intensity but remain in natural harmony with the lips, these four gloss shades (SO6, SO8, SO9, S19) help you achieve that glamorous, sexy “bitten lip” look.

This one reads C08, so I am assuming it is the SO8 from the deeper shades category.

You get a Tube of 9.5 ml for AED 79, at Debenhams, Vavavoom and Beauty Bay.

Packaging :

UNE Cherry Lip Gloss looks identical in the tube just like their other glosses! It has a slender precision brush. Say good-bye to glosses that leave brush “streaks” on the lips, that run or deposit too much product.

Made with Toray, a synthetic fibre approved by Ecocert, the Cheery Gloss brush is perfectly adapted for even application of creamy textures without overloading.

A quick and easy way to line the lips and create a natural look.

My Thoughts On The UNE Cherry Lip Gloss :
Having used a couple of glosses from UNE even before, I wasn’t less excited to try this one on! Basically, the UNE Cherry Lip Gloss is quiet similar to UNE Glimmer Lips Glosses in a lot of ways, but there are differences as well.

The shade C08 is a deep mauvy rose pink. It does look heavy on hand swatches, but goes very pretty and light on the lips.

The texture of the gloss is thicker than the UNE Glimmer lips glosses, it is more pigmented then those and has a better staying power too. It doesn’t have shimmer or glitter and is plainly a thick jolt of color.

What’s to LOVE about the UNE Cherry Lip Gloss :

• The applicator, it gives a flawless finish to the lips.
• Immensely light weighted
• The color C08 gives a pretty , natural pink tint of color to the lips
• Pigmented
• Stays on for around 3-4 hours with snacks and drinks
• Has a thick consistency. Thicker than the glimmer lips glosses
• Shall cover pigmented lips too
• 100% organic
• Non sticky. Has no shimmer or glitter
• Super hydrating
• Feel good ingredients. Read the ingredients section
• Leaves my lips super soft and supple
• Looks great when layered or topped on with corresponding shades
• Has no strong scent or flavor

What’s to HATE about the UNE Cherry Lip Gloss :

I do not find any flaw for the UNE Cherry Lip Gloss.

Final Verdict :
UNE Cherry Lip Gloss in C08 is a great color for regular use. It has an awesome formulation for keeping the lips hydrated with a tint of color. Great for summers in terms of formulation. I guess this CHERRY range has some gorgeous colors to offer.  So definitely check it out.
