Urban Decay Meltdown Makeup Remover Wipes Review

Skin type: oily-sensitive, acne prone

Hello friends,

Hope all of you are doing great! I am here today to share my thoughts about a newly launched product. These wipes, sadly, failed to impress me. Honestly, I had really high hopes from this product considering I have tried many makeup remover wipes that work like a charm, even the low-end ones. Let’s read more about Urban Decay Meltdown Makeup Remover Wipes.

Urban Decay Meltdown Makeup Remover Wipes Review

Price: $20 for 100 wipes
What it is:
A pack of makeup remover wipes that are gentle enough for sensitive skin, yet remove even the most stubborn formulas.

What it does:
Meltdown Makeup Remover Wipes from Urban Decay remove all types of makeup formulas—even if you’re taking everything off at the end of the day or the next morning. They’re formulated with a blend of five skin-loving essential oils: olive, jojoba, sunflower, vitamin E, and lavender. These mess-free wipes are even biodegradable and they’re perfect for travel.

My Experience with Urban Decay Meltdown Makeup Remover Wipes:

These wipes come in the usual plastic-poly packaging with a flip top cap. It does have a mild scent but it is not overpowering, thankfully. Overall, the packaging is very user-friendly and travel-friendly.

Urban Decay Meltdown Makeup Remover Wipes Packaging

I first got disappointed with these wipes when I took one wipe out of the packaging. The wipe seemed considerably smaller than other wipes. These wipes have a soft and smooth texture and they do not feel harsh on my acne prone skin, but these wipes do nothing to remove heavy makeup. In order to remove heavy makeup, I have to rub these wipes vigorously on my face and eyes. These wipes are good enough when it comes to removing light makeup like BB cream or kohl. Still I have to apply some pressure to remove these products. These wipes are not damp enough as you can clean only a small area with one wipe. I have lost count of how many wipes I have to use to remove all of my face, eyes and lips makeup.

Urban Decay Meltdown Makeup Remover Wipes

I find these wipes good enough for occasional touch-ups and for wiping the sweat off. These wipes do not sting or cause any kind of irritation on my skin. It’s quite relieving to see that these wipes never broke me out. I don’t think you’d miss out on anything if you skipped these wipes. Honestly, Urban Decay has let me down this time, and I won’t repurchase these wipes again.
