Urban Decay Naked Palette

urban decay naked palette

I don’t even know since how long I have been wanting to get my hands on this palette. A very dear friend of mine got it delivered for me from US a few months back. It is probably one of the best things in my makeup kit. If you are someone like me who does neutrals, Urban Decay Naked Palette is a must have. They have launched even the second version of this palette.

Price : Rs 2,500/- approx

The palette comes with a very fine flat shader brush and a little bottle of Urban Decay Primer Potion.

Following are the shade descriptions:

Virgin: A satin finish champagne shade. Great for highlighting.

Sin : A gorgeous warm shimmery champagne

Naked: True to its name. A matte nude.

Sidecar : A soft coppery champagne with golden shimmer.

Buck : Gorgeous overall and transition color. A matte soft brown.

Half Baked : A very pretty gold. Reminds me of MAC Amberlights.

Smog : A metallic bronzed copper.

Dark Horse : Very pretty deep metallic brown.

Toasted : a reddened champagne.

Hustle : Metallic taupe

Creep : A shimmery greyish black

Gunmetal : Gunmetal grey.

Every single eyeshadow is pigmented in its own capacity. Each has its own function. There is a gorgeous mix of shimmery ,mattes and satin finish shadows. Easy to travel with and works just everywhere. The eye shadows stay on forever. The finish of every single eyeshadow is pretty. There are a ton of looks you can do with this palette.  They don’t crease or fade. I guess Urban Decay Naked Palette totally lives up to its hype and gets a full 5/5 from me. :)

Get you hands on it if you can. :)

Swatches:

middle row l-r half baked, smog, darkhorse, toasted, hustle,

bottom row l-r creep, gunmetal

Wanted to do a very deep black champagne smokey eye but black isn’t as black or as matte as I would have preferred it to be so that’s the look for today. It sort of turned out to be metallic greyish champagne smokey eye. Used sin, buck and creep for the look.

Guess there is a right time for everything as the saying goes, I have to first learn enough to do justice to this palette, then lay my hands on it…you have done total justice :-)

I agree with Rati. Ladies, grab this the moment you see it, its a gem!

I bought this from Sephora is Paris. I was more interested in locating a Sephora on my trip than touring Paris. The brush with it si perfect, I also got a travel size primer potion free with it.
I saw, I bought and we lived happily ever after :D

Missing ur OOTDS :) I do hope u r feeling well now!

Hi Rati,

You have really done justice to this palette…. I really wanted to get this one too but might after i perfect the look…… FYI there is a good dupe from physicians formula for around AUD 30…..less pricy than urban decay
