Today, I will be sharing my views about Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in the shade Naked. It is a bare pink which gives a natural pink look to my lips and a lovely glow to my face. Packaging:
Comes packaged in a gunmetal coloured tube on the outside, the inner portion of the tube is lined in Urban Decay’s signature dark purple colour. This authentic tube comes packaged in a dark purple coloured cardboard box, which has a pink coloured band on one side and the bottom of the box. This cardboard box can be opened only from one end, the other end is sealed. Tube closes firmly and is travel-friendly.
My Experience with Urban Decay Naked Revolution Lipstick:
Well, well! My first lipstick from Urban Decay! I always wanted to buy some makeup from Urban Decay and then would shelf the plan off. I got a chance and decided to try Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Naked. This shade is not exactly a pink or a brown but belongs to that group. I would call it a bare pink. Gives a natural pink definition to my lips. ???? I am glad I picked this shade. Two swipes give an opaque look to my pigmented lips. The texture is soft, creamy and feels good when applied. Does not smudge, spread or transfer.
This lipstick shade is a bit confusing, shows bare pink when seen in normal daylight indoors, but when in a dark room or a room with filled with white/fluorescent lights, it shows like a cool toned pink. Outdoors, in the sun, it looks like a salmon pink and has a hue of coral pink.
This lipstick tends to transfer, only if pressed too hard. This shade is mildly pigmented; it is a soft pink with a mild sheen and gives a soft and natural pink effect to my lips. This bare pink enhances the natural colour of my lips and gives an opaque finish to my pigmented lips. It suits my moderately fair skin with warm undertones well. It gives a glow to my entire face and this lipstick and just kajal for my eyes are enough.
The lasting power is four hours, without snacks or meals. The shade lightens after drinking water, tea or coffee. It does not fade completely after snacks but leaves a stain which can be easily washed off. It does not dry or dehydrate my lips as long as it lasts. I really wish this shade was long lasting. This shade is perfect for daily wear and goes well with a smoky eye look.

Yes, it’s a beautiful daily wear bare pink lipstick. Do try a lip swatch before picking. I took a blind plunge because I ordered it online, but luckily this natural shade is okay with me! You can also choose from a variety of shades available in this range.
