This review will be on the Urban Decay Sheer Revolution lipstick in the Shade Sheer Streak.

Like Urban Decay’s original formula, this sheer lipstick hugs lips, sweeping on with an ultra-smooth, budge-free application.

Urban Decay’s Pigment Infusion System™ gives Sheer Revolution its creamy texture, ultimate color dispersion, and extended wear. Infused with a nourishing blend of oils and antioxidants Maxi-Lip™, it defines and hydrates lips while making them look plumper and fuller. Shea butter, jojoba, olive, and babassu oils moisturize and condition, while vitamin C and vitamin E provide a dose of antioxidants.

My Experience with Urban Decay Streak Sheer Revolution Lipstick :

Packaging:

These Sheer revolution lipsticks are a spin off on the original Urban Decay Revolution lipstick. Some of them have been reviewed here. All the shades in the Sheer revolution line have their original more pigmented version in the Revolution line.

Packaging:
Very similar to the original revolution lipstick, the only difference being that the revolution lipstick have a gunmetal tube, whereas the sheer revolution have a light purple tube. The name of the shade is indicated under the tube via a label.

Texture:
These lipstick feel like a cross between lipstick, gloss and a lip balm. They feel very hydrating and moisturizing on the lips and have a smoothing silky texture to it. They just glide on the lips without any tug.

Pigmentation & Finish:
The sheer lipstick give a very good payoff for being a “Sheer lipstick” . It gives about 75-80% opacity on the lips which is good enough to hide even pigmented lips. It has very high shine glossy finish to the lips which make them look plump and healthy.

Shade:
The shade “Sheer Streak” is a very beautiful coral pink. This shade is very summery since it has that bright pink quality to it which makes the face look radiant and healthy. This shade will flatter most skin tones. These lipstick are very low maintenance and go well with any look and pair well even on days you don’t feel like applying a lot of makeup. You just apply this lipstick, some kohl and it makes you look put together.

Staying Power:
I am not very impressed by the staying power of these lipstick, at most they stay on my lips for 4-5 hours. The high shine finish settles after 3 hours to a satin finish. They fade much quicker if you eat of drink and will not survive a full meal. It does not leave behind any stain.

Fragrance:
It has a nice pleasant scent which is not overpowering.

Overall, I do enjoy these lipsticks very much. The high pigmentation was kind of surprising to me (in a good way of course) since they applied very sheer in the hand swatches. I absolutely love the high shine and very hydrating feel of it on the lips. The only con for me is the poor staying power.

• Fades faster if you eat or drink.
