Here’s a quick review of a shampoo that I picked up randomly. The heat here is crazy and my hair has started to behave a bit weird; sweat makes my scalp oily and itchy. I noticed some flaky dandruff and I was out of my Himalaya Dandruff Shampoo so I picked this. Let’s get to the review.

My Take on Dabur Vatika Oil Balance Dandruff Treatment Shampoo:
The shampoo comes in a plastic bottle which is yellow in color. It is quite simple and handy. The flip cap is not flimsy and shuts tightly making it easy to carry around if needed. There are some descriptions and claims along with ingredients listed at the reverse-side.
The shampoo is yellow colored with a shiny tinge. It has a nice refreshing smell to it. It is not very chunky and lingers on for a bit. This is a creamy shampoo and it feels rich. The shampoo lathers really well even when the hair is oiled. My scalp felt fresh post shampoo. I do not have excessive dandruff, but just on the verge of attack. It does a good job at eliminating all the traces of oil from the scalp. After two washes, my scalp got rid of minor flaky dandruff. I wouldn’t comment on how it’s going to perform for severe dandruff though.
Not only that, but my hair was all bouncy and shiny too. That too without a conditioner! Wonder whether this is because of my DIY Hair Oil or the shampoo. 😀 Even if it wasn’t the shampoo, it definitely did not dry out my hair! Winding this up, I think it did a good job and I like it.
