Victoria’s Secret Amber Romance Hand and Body Cream Review

Smelling good always always give everyone immeasurable confidence. You feel good about yourself. If you are a fragrance junkie like me,you toh are totally on the seventh heaven!

Today, I have come with a review of a body cream which is my absolute favourites among all the body creams I have ever used and mind you, I have used more than my share 😉 It is the Victoria’s secret Amber Romance Body Cream. Thankfuly, it is one of their standard signature fragrances which will stay (hopefully) forever!

Price: $14 for 200 ml

Brand Claims:

A seductive, warm fragrance. Ignite an Amber Romance, a sensual embrace of sultry amber and crème anglaise. Experience the luxury of fragrant hydration. Intensive formula is fortified with replenishing avocado and sweet almond oils, plus hydrating honey. Massage on for rich, 24-hour moisture, focusing on dry, rough areas. Skin feels soft, smooth and touchable: the ultimate sexy sensation.

My Experience with Victoria’s Secret Amber Romance Hand and Body Cream:

This hand and body cream comes in the standard sturdy VS (Victoria’s Secret) tube. It is travel-friendly and enables us to get the full worth of the product. The cream is, just as the name suggests, a buttery creams that melts onto the skin, but I feel it needs a little more quantity for coverage. I use this cream whenever I fancy the fragrance and the scent lasts for good 6-8 hours.

The fragrance, oh the fragrance is just so amazing! Imagine soft vanilla, deeply intermingled with honeyed amber. The fragrance is so well rounded that you cannot differentiate between notes, it’s a mellow subtle and very comforting feminine fragrance. Now amber is considered to be a muskier and strong fragrance. I too was skeptical of this case, as I already have Bath and Body Works Twilight Woods which is a woody strong fragrance. But oh how I was pleasantly surprised by this body cream!! I absolutely adore this fragrance and this is a 10/10 for me. Not too strong, not too floral, not too sweet and not fruity. You know, you just cannot put a finger on it, it’s just a balanced and well-rounded scent!!

Now about its moisturization capability; like all VS body creams, it is intensely hydrating .Its lush and leaves the skin satiny smooth. An excellent moisturizer for medium dry, normal to oily skin. For super dry skin, I think either you would have to use a whole lot of this cream or invest in the body butter.

The fact that I have been soo miserly with the swatch proves how much I love this product: P

I absolutely and crazily love this body cream and will continue to repurchase it!!It’s the best fragrance out there for me. LOVE IT!!
