How’s it going? The winters are back in Delhi and its getting really cold out here!!

Yesterday I was rummaging through my dressing table and something in the corner struck my eye. A Victoria’s Secret Nail lacquer – Runway Angel. What a beauty it is! My best friend, Ridhima, bought this from a Victoria’s Secret store from Dubai. I fell in love with it the moment I set my eyes on it – Truly madly deeply. It’s a concentrated golden shimmer/glitter nail paint unlike any other normal shimmer nail paints. Read on to find out what makes it so special to me.

Product Description: Pure color at your fingertips for that bold, polished look. Eye-catching color in a high-gloss performance formula gives your nails a perfect finishing touch.

Tips & Tricks: Apply two thin coats of nail lacquer for high-intensity color and flawless results.

Packaging: A see through square shaped bottle with a long good quality brush.

My Take on Victoria’s Secret Nail Varnish in ‘Runway Angel’:

I have always wanted to own a Golden Shimmer Nail Paint. I first thought of buying the Colorbar Golden & Black Shimmer nail paint. But my best friend surprised me with this lovely nail paint that she bought from Dubai. Oh, just the mere sight of it made me soo ecstatic. She bought two shades – Runway Angel (pure golden glitter) and Backstage (copper glitter).

I had to mix the bottle first, for the small and the large particles to mix properly. First coat was slightly translucent. Second coat was better and gave a heavy shimmer look. The finish is so smooth, when I touch it, it is just like any other normal smooth nail paint. It lasted on my nails for a good 5 days before starting to chip off. Taking this nail paint off was a nightmare for me. No nail paint remover seemed to work. I had to struggle to take it off. Maybe there is a tactic for taking off shimmer nail paints that I’m not aware of.

BTW, while I was wearing this nail paint, I got so many compliments. Even a few strangers walked up to me and asked what was I exactly wearing on my nails. 😀

Pros of Victoria’s Secret Nail Varnish in ‘Runway Angel’:

• What a lovely color!
• Beautiful packaging.
• Great stay, doesn’t chip off easily.
• Is not translucent like most other shimmer nail paints.
• Can be worn over a nail paint or all by itself as well.
• Good quantity.
• Gives a high – gloss look, as it claims.

Cons of Victoria’s Secret Nail Varnish in ‘Runway Angel’:

• Availability can be an issue. Available only in Victoria’s Secret stores.
• Expensive.
• Taking it off is such a pain. Rigorous rubbing is required to take it off.

Would I Recommend Victoria’s Secret Nail Varnish in ‘Runway Angel’ to Others?

Off course, with all my heart. 🙂 It is unlike any other shimmer nail paint.
