My Experience with Victoria’s Secret Passionate Kisses Fragrance Mist:

This is one more experiment similar to VS Secret Craving. I am not a big fan of fruity scents and vanilla is one of my favourites and I thought it would smell like cherry vanilla pastry, but no, I don’t like it. In fact, I hate it. It smells like cough syrup. No exaggeration here, I swear! It is soapy and flowery and very very sweet. Again another one among VS scents that don’t boast of an amazing partitioning of notes. There is no vanilla whatsoever.

How could they make such a grave mistake of not balancing it with proper warm notes? And when they say cherry, it is candied cherry and not the fresh ones, which ultimately results in the medicinal smell. Now, who prefers candied cherries over fresh cherries on their pastries? Ya, no one.

As has to be the norm, this strong scent lasts on me for quite a long time. It is a constant emission of the same notes over and over. It reminds me of the bedside table laden with cough syrups when we are sick. Ugh. I haven’t been able to force myself to wear this more than 2 or 3 times. I cannot believe this is part of their Classiques collection which means it has been around from the time the company was born. What do people see in this? I am not sure.

The packaging reminds me of VS Pure seduction. It is the exact same colour isn’t it?
