Victoria’s Secret Secret Charm Ultra-moisturizing Hand and Body Cream

Hope everyone is great!! If you are aware of my obsession with fragrances, you will not be surprised on seeing back-to-back reviews of body lotions and a perfume!!  This was again a gift from my uncle and I’m glad he got this for me, otherwise I would never have known about the goodness of it. I have been using the cream for about five months now, and I haven’t still gone out of it. Let’s get to the review of the hand and body cream.

What Victoria’s Secret says:
Intensive formula is fortified with replenishing Avocado and Sweet Almond Oils, plus hydrating Honey. Massage on for rich, 24-hour moisture focusing on dry and rough areas. Skin feels soft, smooth and touchable.

Price: $18 for 200 ml or 6.7 Fl oz.

My take on Victoria’s Secret Secret Charm Ultra-moisturizing Hand and Body Cream :

Packaging: Victoria’s Secret makes sure that all their products stand out in terms of quality, quantity and looks…just like their models!!! 😀 Don’t you agree?? How many of you do not fall for classic packaging? I bet nobody likes products with a boring packaging!! The packaging of this baby is again classy and sturdy with hints of purple and pink and a beautiful flower to add to the appeal. They do not confuse people by adding too many words to the packaging. Also, I love the name of this baby!

Fragrance: Just like the name suggests, the fragrance is indeed a charm!! It smells divine, and I have been a fan of honeysuckle forever. I used to love the Wild Honeysuckle fragrance from Bath and Body Works and then I got this, which smells similar to that one. The fragrance is light and floral, for the very first time, I liked the floral scent of something…pretty unusual. It is not an over-powering scent and gives a very calming feel after a shower.

Staying power: It has a great staying power, which lasts seven to eight hours after which it begins to fade. Well, you cannot really expect so much out of a moisturizer, I don’t think there are any that can provide 24-hour moisturisation. So, I don’t agree to VS’s claims in terms of the 24-hours staying power.

What it feels like on the skin? The cream is pretty thick and feels luxurious on the skin. It does not give that wet feeling like most of the creams in the market. I usually use it after a shower, and it gives a very happy and calm feeling to my skin. It absorbs in the skin very easily and makes the skin feel really hydrated. Then again, if you have a very dry skin, this would not work as well for you, as it does for me!

Pros of the Victoria’s Secret Secret Charm Ultra-moisturizing Hand and Body Cream:

• Smells divine
• Sturdy and pretty packaging
• Stays put for a good 7-8 hours
• Gives a nice and calm feel to the skin
• Smells fresh
• Is not over-powering
• Has almond oil

Cons of the Victoria’s Secret Secret Charm Ultra-moisturizing Hand and Body Cream:

• Availability may be an issue
• Does not live up to the 14-hour claim
