Vintage Mint Blazer and White Dress

Hiya Everyone. πŸ™‚

This is my last outfit from Coorg. I dressed up a bit in the evening. I picked up this linen vintage coat during the beginning of the winters. But since we had quite a chilly winter here in delhi, I didn’t get a chance to wear it. WhileΒ packagingΒ this time, I paired it with a white linen pencil dress. The shape and structure of the coat sort of balanced out the clean lines of the dress. I finished off the look with a blue metallic clutch and some pearls that matched the buttons of my jacket.

We had a great trip. It was a bit jittery but overall a nice one. One of the major things that I had to fight during this trip was water retention and bloating. Water retention is a part of travel. Your body takes time to get adjusted to the surroundings but this time it was pretty bad for me. I was eating healthy but still the bloating became a challenge to get rid of. The second day I worked out crazily to bring my body back in shape but it’s today that I am feeling light and back to myself. While talking to Jomol in the morning, she told me that the South Indian food I ate during our 6 hour road trip was the main culprit. These people add soda in the food to fill you up quickly and it bloats up your body. So my only suggestion and a learning would be to avoid food from local places. It’s better to have a burger from Mc Donald’s and fruits during the long trips than having local food from random places.

The funny thing was that our South Indian driver had a Mc D’s burger and didn’t touch this local food. Guess he knew it better. πŸ™‚

Anyway, have a great weekend everyone. πŸ™‚

    1. nidhi, my body got so messed up during the trip that I started feeling heavy and bloated. It was really making me uncomfortable so I went to sweat it out. πŸ˜› It felt good!! πŸ˜€ Pottery experience was superb. It works like a therapy. you forget about the world in trying to bring a piece of clay to shape. should try it. and this place is a MUST visit. You’d love it. :))

Thank you and a very happy women’s day to you as well. :-*

  8. Rati loved your coat.. And what’s the story behind the 6th pic? That’s such a candid shot.. Kudos to Sanjeev for capturing that shot.. πŸ˜€

No wonder I always felt bloated after having South Indian food when I was in Bangalore every other weekend. After having lunch in the noon and coffee in the eve, I just couldn’t have my dinner and felt bloated the next morning too :/

The scenery is amazing…I sooo want to go to Coorg now.. waaaaa..waaaa :'(
