VLCC Cherry Lovable Lips was an impulsive buy. I was attracted to the very cute packaging of these lip balms. And, at 99 bucks, they were a steal according to me. Lets find out how this one had turned out.

My Experience with VLCC Cherry Lovable Lips:
Packaging: The packaging is very simple, but very catchy and attractive. The bright reddish pink text on white body is very eye catching. Also, you can see the coloured balm from the top, which makes it super cute.
The cap fits well and is transparent. There are details printed in the same colour as the lip balm on the body. Over all, I give full points on the cute, simple yet very attractive packaging.
Texture: The texture is like the Orange lip balm, a bit waxy but very smooth. Glides on so easily; unlike the other reviewed VLCC Lovable lip balms. The finish is also like a lipstick. When it’s on the lips, your lips don’t feel dry. It’s moisturising enough, but not hydrating, like most of the lip balms!
Colour/Pigmentation: The colour of this cute lip balm is rusty red or brick red, which is almost like a lipstick when you swatch it. The colour is really unique for a lip balm. I mean we have reds, pinks and oranges as shades of lip balm, but never did we have a brick coloured lip balm.
I like the pigmentation of this balm too. It looks like you applied a lipstick. The shade can be buildable.
Staying Power: It stays for 2 hours if you do not eat/drink anything. It fades slightly if you sip on something. It’s got pretty average staying power. Re-application is needed after sometime.
Smell/Taste: It has a nice fragrance, which is pleasant. The fragrance isn’t over powering. But, it doesn’t smell like cherries. The fragrance doesn’t linger much. It disappears very soon. It doesn’t taste like anything though.

Pros of VLCC Cherry Lovable Lips:
• Very affordable.
• Packaging is simple, yet cute and catchy.
• Has a pleasant fragrance that is not over powering.
• No taste.
• Isn’t drying on the lips.
• Has smooth and light texture.
• Imparts nice brick red/ rusty colour on the lips.
Cons of VLCC Cherry Lovable Lips:
• Low staying power.
• Is not at all hydrating.

Conclusion:
It beats VLCC Lovable Lips in Orange, hands down mainly because of the colour they impart on our lips! I’m happy I bought this, and there is no regret. I would recommend to those who like trying out different lip balms, because the shade is very different and is quite pigmented. Actually it’s the most affordable lip balm cum lipstick!
