VLCC Groome Instant Nail Shiner Review

Hello Ladies!

Hope you are all doing well. Today, I am here with a review on one of my favorite products, an instant nail shiner. It is a product from VLCC and sounded quite promising when I purchased it. Moreover, I had a previous experience with an Oriflame nail buffer and it was incredibly good. So, to know if this VLCC Groome Instant Nail Shiner lived up to its name, please read the review below :)

VLCC Groome Instant Nail Shiner Review

It must have happened to most of the ladies that once you remove your nail paint after a long time, your nail appear to have taken a yellowish tinge, a tarnished look.  This is because your nail has not been exposed to the sun rays for a long time, which is equally essential just as our body requires adequate amount of sun rays. However, because of this, you loose your natural nail color (may be for a few days) and it becomes embarrassing to leave your nails that way, without putting on some nail color. Seems to be like a vicious circle! Do not worry, with this VLCC Groome Instant Nail Shiner, you can give your nails a good makeover and bring that shine back again.

Price:

Rs. 129

Packaging:

Comes in a thick, transparent, plastic cover with the directions written on the cover itself.

Nail Buff

Directions For Use:

The colored side (low abrasive) – Use in a light circular motion to smooth ridges and to remove any stains on the nail surface. Use the side sparingly on thin nails.  The White Side (non abrasive) – Buff across the nail in a back and forth motion to get instant shine.

Nail Shiner

My Experience with VLCC Groome Instant Nail Shiner:

Well to begin with, I was looking for a good nail buffer for quite some time after I lost the previous one about 3 years back. After that, I came across quite a number of buffers, but they were not of much help and since I don’t like coloring my nail too much, I was badly in need of one. Then, last week, I came across the VLCC Groome Instant Nail Shiner.  I bought it, but was not sure if it would actually work, and to my surprise, it works pretty well. You can see the difference in the “before” and “after” picture.  To start off, remove your nail paint with a good nail paint remover, then using the printed side, gently scrub off your nail in a circular motion. You will see white dust coming out of your nail.

Nail Grooming

That is the nail dust, clearing it off will make your nail smoother.  After that, using the white side buff across the nail in a back and forth motion, which will give your nail an instant shine. It will look like you have applied a thin layer of natural nail color. Finally, moisturize your hands and fingers to get the complete polished look.

Pros of VLCC Groome Instant Nail Shiner:

  • Lives up to its promises.
  • Priced at Rs. 129, it is affordable.
  • The product is quite sturdy and soft at the same time, to bring about that desired effect.
  • Helps in removing the yellow stains on the nails.
  • Makes your nail naturally shiny, and removes the rough texture of the nail if any.

Cons of VLCC Groome Instant Nail Shiner:

  • May leave your nails dry, so do not forget to moisturize your nails after every use.
  • Excessive use is not recommended.
  • Need to be used sparingly on thin nails.

Do I Recommend VLCC Groome Instant Nail Shiner?

Yes, of course. Those of you love nude nails, should give it a try.

IMBB Rating:

4/5.

I have a Manicare 4-way buffer that I bought 2-3 years ago, and it’s still going good! But I will keep this in mind for when I need a new one. Good review, Amropali :)
