VLCC Shape Up Waist and Tummy Trim Gel Review

VLCC+Shape+Up+Waist+and+Tummy+Trim+Gel+Review

I had bought this gel a few months ago when I was trying to get back into shape with a vengeance, well I still am. I have cut back on sugar and rice and adopted regular walks into my routine, but the only place I am not seeing any reduction is from the ahem….tummy. Well, for a long time, I was in a dilemma to buy this or not. I had found it sitting prettily on the Air Force and Army canteen counters :P didn’t get it from there though, bought it online :P You can find the review of another such anti-cellulite gel from VLCC reviewed by Neha S. over here.

Product Description:

Tummy Trimming Gel 1

Lose up to 6 cm off your waistline. Get a flatter and firmer stomach in 3 to 6 weeks. Busy lifestyles, lack of physical activity, pregnancy, fatty or crash diets, weight fluctuations, etc., cause your waist and tummy areas to sag and appear flabby as you accumulate all the unwanted inches. To help you get a slimmer, toned, and firmer waist and tummy, VLCC Natural Sciences has created Shape Up Waist and Tummy Trim Gel. This advanced ayurvedic formulation with herbal and vegetable extracts is the result of over 15 years of research at VLCC.

How It Works:

On regular use, the advanced active ingredients in the product release and break down cellular fat into consumable energy. Strengthen the skin’s dermis giving you more toned muscles and skin tissues.

Tummy Trimming Gel 2

Price:

Rs. 350 for 100 gm.

Ingredients:

Ingredients

Directions For Use:

Take one teaspoonful (5 ml) of waist and tummy trim gel and apply twice daily in the morning after bath and before bedtime. Waist: Massage the gel for 4-5 minutes, in circular movements from bottom to top, using your palms to get the right pressure. Tummy: Massage the gel with both hands for 4 to 5 minutes with smooth strokes from the bottom to the top, working towards the navel.

Tummy Trimming Gel 3

My Take on VLCC Shape Up Waist and Tummy Trim Gel:

Well, I try hard, but I cannot resist such unusual products. I have to try them :P This pale green slimming gel comes in a tube. This smell strongly of “Tiger Balm” I think. One has to massage this gel for 4 to 5 minutes where the results are needed.

Tummy Trimming Gel 6

This gel is very cool on application and does not warm up later. I have used it for around 4 weeks, but there are no great results.

Tummy Trimming Gel 5

This is a complete dud and now I am going to stalk Nidhi, more so after seeing Rati’s in-shape kamariya here.  After using this product, I have realized that except for proper workouts, nothing else can trim down the tummy.

I am glued to Miss Fit blog now and stalking now. Check out a few of tummy related posts here and here.

Tummy Trimming Gel 4

Pros of VLCC Shape Up Waist and Tummy Trim Gel:

  • Smells of some pain relief balm.
  • Claims to contain all ayurvedic and natural ingredients.

Cons of VLCC Shape Up Waist and Tummy Trim Gel:

  • Complete dud, does not work.

IMBB Rating:

1/5.

It should have atleast tightened the skin. “Lose upto 6 cms” way to make false claims.

These work by draining excess water retention from the body that`s it. Temporary results. nothing drastic. Nothing can substitute exercise.

Ya nothing to beat hard work for sure. No substitute for that. It must work on someone atleast else these wudnt be in the market no?

workout + right diet + positive mind + passion for life = fit body + healthy mind.

Reply

jomol February 3, 2013 at 8:11 am

Aru…its like all those funny products being sold through TVC ads……hardly beneficial but then they get picked up at such huge prices. Reason – all these products are aimed at losing weight, becoming rich….all desirable things…..similarly this one too…..whether or not it would work – people would pick it up to give it a try, like me :)

It works.. :D but with some exercise and sensible diet.. i used it post pregnancy and i have 26 inch waist *happy dance* .. i coupled it with some brisk walk and healthy diet.. it mostly helps in toning the skin.. weight loss can have loose skin specifically in this area but my feeling is that it helped to avoid loose skin.. but nothing works without exercise *nababana*
