VOV Color Rich Lipstick – Shade No. 13 Review

I am back with yet another natural shade from the color rich range of VOV lipsticks. This shade is a rich brown one that looks oh-so-natural on my lips.  This shade is a total winner for me and I am loving everything about it. The lipstick is provided with an eye-shadow of the same shade at one end and this makes the lipstick look even more exciting.

Ingredients:

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Petroleum, Diisostearyl Malate, Microcrystalline Wax, Ethylhexyl Stearate, Polyisobutene, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Qzokerite, Squalane, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Fragrance.

May Contain: Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Red 6, Red 7, Red 27, Iron Oxides Cl 77491, Iron Oxides Cl 77492, Iron Oxides Cl 77499.

My Experience with VOV Color Rich Lipstick – Shade No. 13:

Packaging: It comes in a smooth gleaming silver packaging. The bullet of the lipstick is wide but slim enough to provide easy and smooth application. The bullet moves up-down in a twisting movement and the lid closes with a “tick.” The lipstick has an eye-shadow attached with it at the lower end and I’m looking forward to use it someday soon.

Color and Texture: This shade is a rich brown one that looks natural on my lips.  I usually go for natural browns and pinks.  It is perfect for day wear as it looks awesome on lips and not at all made-up. The texture is buttery smooth and glides like a dream. I always love smudging lipsticks rather than applying it at one swipe and this one is a total scorer there.  It has low pigmentation and hence gets even application. The staying power is as long as 4-5 hours, but it hardly fades. You need not go for touch-ups with this one. It has got an appreciable moisturizing as well.

Fragrance: It has a mild fruity fragrance that never fails to give me a fresh feel whenever I apply it.

I would definitely love to buy other bold shades from this color rich range of VOV lipsticks. This one is so far the best among the other VOV lipsticks I possess.

This shade is worth a try for those who go gaga over natural browns. The shade is natural but sultry at the same time *wink*.
