As you all know, Wayne Goss brushes have my heart 🙂 Every few months, I add another brush to my existing Wayne Goss brush collection. Today, I am going to review “Wayne Goss brush 05” for all of you.

My Experience with Wayne Goss Brush 05:

Wayne Goss brushes are simply amazing and I have not yet encountered a brush that I felt was just “meh.” Given my love for creating eye makeup looks, I am always in need of useful brushes and this brush goes right in the “everyday use” brush bundle.

This makeup brush has a long handle with a weight which is not too heavy nor too light and thus it sits comfortably in my hand as I work with it. I picked up this brush because I was in need for something which would work for my lower lash line and this brush performs the job brilliantly. It tapers onto a point and the bristles are not too stiff nor too flimsy hence give just the right amount of control while smudging. The bristles pick up just the right amount of powder and they deposit, blend evenly with no harsh edges.

The size and shape of this brush also makes it great to “cut” the crease and also to precisely apply eyeshadow to the inner tear duct. You can also use it to create smokey eyeliner or create a defined outer V. This is such a versatile brush.
Makeup brush tip

All Wayne Goss brushes are handcrafted in Japan and have cruelty-free bristles. The bristles are not cut or dyed hence they are very soft, which is true for this particular brush as well. The bristles on this brush are not scratchy or pokey at all and feel so great when I am using this on my delicate under-eye area. This is truly the best brush for the under-eye area that I have used till date, nothing in my collection even comes close to how good this brush works for the lower lash line.

It is also easy to clean the brush in between when working with two different colors. I just swirl it lightly on my Vera Mona Color switch and I am good to go. Since it is a natural bristle brush, you do have to maintain it, which includes never using an alcohol-based cleaner and not using a harsh shampoo (like dish soap) to wash it. I have not noticed any shedding with this brush.

Overall, I highly recommend this eye makeup brush.
