Hello beautiful ladies,
As I mentioned in my review of Wet n Wild Color Icon Heather Silk Blusher, I had bought two of the blushes from their the Color Icon range. The other shade I bought with Heather Silk is called Mellow Wine. Though, both of these are shades of pink, still Mellow Wine is different from the shade Heather Silk. Let’s see how.
Product Description:
Sweep on this silky-smooth blush that strikes the perfect balance between a blendable transparent sheen and a radiant pop of maximum color. A special blend of treated nylon powders provides long-lasting color. Dermatologist-tested.
Price:
$2.99 for 4 grams.

My Experience with Wet n Wild Color Icon Mellow Wine Blusher:
Packaging: These blushes come in a rectangular packaging with a transparent lid. The transparent lid makes it easier to recognize the color from a bundle of other colors. Also, the blusher has a beautiful swirly pattern on it, which becomes easily visible through the transparent lid making it look more pretty.
Color: The shade Mellow Wine is a dusty pink or it can be considered as a pink with peachy undertones. The blush contains some tiny shimmers which are not very much visible. It is good for the girls who like to have a more natural peachy, pink flush on their cheeks. The blush has a very soft color and is suitable for daily use or any special occasion. It is a kind of shade that looks good on majority of the skin tones. This color might be considered as a color that is universal flattering.
Pigmentation: Like the other blushers in this collection, Mellow Wine is super pigmented too. A little swirl of the color makes it bang on. Though, a single swipe of the color is sufficient, 2-3 coats of the color can be applied to get a peachier glow. Extra coats of the color also help it to stay for a little longer time.
Texture: Though, the blush is easy to use and seems very simple to apply, it might take some efforts to get blended. If not properly blended, the color might appear to be a peachy, uneven patch on the skin. But, if blended properly, it gives the most natural finish to the cheeks.
Staying Power: The great staying power of the blush makes it a must have product. It is one of those blushes that easily stays for 5 hours with just little fading and no touch-ups. There are many long wearing blushes in the market, but its affordability gains it a brownie point.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Wet n Wild Color Icon Mellow Wine Blusher?
Yes! Firstly because I liked the formulation of the blush. Secondly, it is such an affordable product and thirdly because this is the shade that I can see myself wearing daily.
Though, I am a pink lover which should make me love Heather Silk more than Mellow Wine, but as Mellow Wine gives a more natural finish, I love it more than Heather Silk. So, yes I would definitely like to buy this again. Do I recommend this? Absolutely, there cannot be a better blush than this within this price bracket.
