Here’s another review of a very cute lip gloss from Wet n Wild that I bought as a part of my haul. I think I have the entire store of Wet n Wild. Read more to find out whether this one’s a hit or miss.

My experience with Wet N Wild In A Tutu Mega Slicks Lip Gloss:

Packaging: I love how the tube is see through, and the color looks really cute. The plastic feels light, but at the same time it is sturdy. The cap screws back in position, ready to be carried around. The wand is a doe-foot one which makes it easy to apply. However the wand does not pick up enough product and one has to reach back a lot.

Shade: This looks pink from the tube along with nice shimmers. But the gloss turns out clear on lips. The shimmers are not at all chunky or gritty, in fact they look pretty. It has a sweet fragrance that vanishes in a while. It is not completely tasteless, but the feeling on the tongue is not good!

Texture: This gloss has a beautiful texture. The lip gel that I reviewed had a slightly thicker texture than this I feel. It does not feel heavy at all, but feels slightly sticky. With one coat, I get a balm-like feel. I think some would prefer to wear them over lipsticks. I do not like the heavy feeling so I just stain my lips with a dark lip color and wear this over that.

Lasting power: For a gloss, it lasts for around 2 hours with talking. It does not survive a full meal though. It does transfer here and there but I think that’s okay since the color does not show up. This moisturizes my lips extremely well. It leaves an oily feeling on the lips telling that the lips are nourished. Even though it goes clear, I just cannot stop loving these glosses.

• Light texture, goes smooth on lips.
• Shimmers are not OTT and don’t feel gritty.
• Gives a nice lustrous sheen to lips.
• It is enriched with Vitamins A and E and also with some oils.
• Nourishes the lips well.
• Decently priced.

Cons of Wet N Wild In A Tutu Mega Slicks Lip Gloss :

• The wand does not pick up enough amount of gloss required.
• Contains paraben.
• Does not impart any color.

Would I recommend/re-purchase Wet N Wild In A Tutu Mega Slicks Lip Gloss?
If you’re looking for a colored gloss then this can be skipped since it goes clear. Those who wouldn’t mind lustrous looking, natural lips can totally try this. I already have two shades and I love them.
