Today I’m reviewing an eye liner I bought when I was going through a mad “coloured eyeliner obsession” phase. It’s Wet N Wild’s liquid eye liner from the Mega Liner range in the shade Indigo Blue. I found it at a beauty store in Delhi, that sells imported makeup and beauty products and when I spotted this beauty, I couldn’t resist myself from picking it up. Read on to find out more about it.

My take on Wet n Wild Indigo Blue Mega Liner Liquid Eyeliner:

Packaging: It comes in a sleek and simple packaging. It’s rather tiny and compact. The eyeliner bottle is tiny and blue (because the eyeliner is blue) and the cap is long and sleek and is steel grey in color. It’s got a very aesthetic packaging. It’s sturdy and travel friendly. The brush is of fairly good quality considering this is a mere $3 product, I like how fine the bristles are and the tip is pointed it so I can control the thickness of the eye liner on the eyelids.

Shade: It is a beautiful and striking indigo blue eye liner. While one coat gives a subtle look, two coats of this liner give a beautiful bright blue color to the lids. It’s a great shade of eye liner to add a pop of color to any look. It has very minute silver shimmer particles. And the eye liner ends up looking more silver than blue (which proves the name ‘Indigo Blue’ to be quite misleading). It is definitely long wear eyeliner and it stays on me for 5+ hours easily without any fading. Though it is not waterproof or smudge proof, so I have to be extra careful about touching my eyelids when I’m wearing this eye liner.

Texture: It glides super smoothly on to the eye lids and gives a very clean and polished look. The texture of the eyeliner is not runny nor is it too thick. It has a quick dry formula eye liner. I’d say it has medium to solid pigmentation. Two coats are all it takes to give a bright blue color on the eye lids. It does not feel heavy on the eye lids, nor is it greasy or sticky in texture.

Pros of Wet n Wild Indigo Blue Mega Liner Liquid Eyeliner :

• Affordably priced
• Nice eyeliner to add a pop of color to the face
• Will look good on both warm toned and cool toned beauties 😉
• Stays for 5+ hours on my super oily lids without much fading, that too without a primer.
• Has a silver sheen which looks very pretty and glamorous.
• Glides smoothly on to the eye lids
• Quick dry eye liner
• Decent pigmentation

Cons of Wet n Wild Indigo Blue Mega Liner Liquid Eyeliner :

• Not easily available in India.
• It is more silver than blue, so the name of the eye liner is misleading.
• It is not smudge proof or water proof.
• People who prefer matte eye liners can skip it.

Will I repurchase it/do I recommend Wet n Wild Indigo Blue Mega Liner Liquid Eyeliner ?

Even though I really like this eye liner, I wont repurchase it as I like trying new brands/ products every time. But I do recommend it to those who like blue eye liners.

It is an nicely priced eyeliner with a beautiful bright blue color and nice pigmentation. Must try!
