Wet n Wild Megaglo Dual-Ended Contour Stick – Medium/Tan Review

Hey!
I don’t usually use bronzers/contouring products because I have naturally dusky complexion and my skin tends to tan very easily even from very short exposure to sun. The high point of my face is ironically my high cheek bones, well not that high but I can accentuate them by using appropriate blush. Highlighters are another way to do that and I recently purchased a dual product from my local drug store. Following is my take on it.

My Take on Wet n Wild Megaglo Dual-Ended Contour Stick – Medium/Tan:

This stick reminds me of the several cream contouring products available these days, particularly in stick form – they make the contouring process easy and quick and is perfect for beginners or people who face time crunch while getting ready.

stick

Packaging: Product is in a stick form with contour product at one end and highlighter at the other – both the ends are protected with a thick, clear plastic cap. This is perfect for those who travel a lot or don’t have a lot of vanity space.

shade

Texture: It’s a cream product and is easy to apply but not that easy to blend and I really wish that it was a bit creamier. I can still make it work and increase the wear time by layering it with a powder bronzer or a translucent powder.

contour

Color: The contour part has light to medium tan color which can be built up to a certain extent. The highlighter is however not meant for warm skin tones because it has pink undertones and would look ghostly on my skin color. Both the colors give a matte finish.

highlighter

Pigmentation: I didn’t get a chance to use the highlighter because it is not for my skin tone but I enjoyed using the contour a lot especially in the hollows of my cheeks; I just draw one, thin line and blend it to add more depth and definition to face and make my face appear more chiseled.

Wear time: The product lasts entire day or till it is removed or as long as the base makeup stays in place.

Conclusion: This is a very pretty, handy duo and I wish I could use the highlighter as well but alas no such luck but I am sure cool tone beauties can enjoy it. This is product is not expensive but performs beautifully and looks so natural and warm on my skin and is worth a buy.

Pros of Wet n Wild Megaglo Dual-Ended Contour Stick – Medium/Tan:

• Practical, travel friendly packaging.
• Warm bronze tone and is perfect for contouring.
• Feels light weight – barely there.
• Looks natural on my dusky complexion.
• Decent staying power.
• Pocket friendly.
• Gives a matt finish.
• Cool tone beauties can use highlighter as well.

Cons of Wet n Wild Megaglo Dual-Ended Contour Stick – Medium/Tan:

• The highlighter shade is not meant for my skin tone and is for cool tone beauties only
• It should have been a bit creamier as that makes blending easier.

IMBB Rating: 4/5 (as contour), 2/5 (as a highlighter)

No, because it would last me a long time but would suggest others to buy this product to get natural tan or highlight.
