Recently, I reviewed the Wet n Wild Foundation Brush and Wet n Wild Small Concealer Brush. Today’s review is all about Wet n Wild Smoky Liner Brush. Let’s get started.

Wet n Wild Smoky Liner Brush Review1

Price: $0.99
Product Description:
Your “smoky eye” routine just got 100% easier! This small brush features short, rounded firm bristles designed to create a sultry smoky eye. With an ergonomic design that pushes precision over the top, you might say that your smoky eye look is “handled.”

My Experience with Wet n Wild Smoky Liner Brush:

Wet n Wild Smoky Liner Brush Review

I got these shipped from the US and was so annoyed to see this one broken when it reached me! I wanted to throw it away out of frustration but, I managed to fix it with epoxy, effortlessly!

Talking about the packaging and outlook, Wet n wild brush Smoky Line Brush comes in a transparent plastic case with a black card box strip to display the details of the brush. The brush handle carries the Wet n Wild logo – I wish they also have the name or number imprinted on the handle because not everyone is going to keep them in the case forever. Anyways, there is a groove in the middle just below the ferrule for better control while handling; the groove does its job well – undoubtedly a great feature. The handle and ferrule both are made of plastic (read average quality plastic) but then, what more can you ask for this price. The synthetic fibres are claimed to be made of a duo fibre but, I can’t validate it. The bristles come in two tones – white and baby pink (not really appealing for clicks but the white theme looks fairly attractive when you hold the brush).

Wet n Wild Smoky Liner Brush Review2

The Smoky Liner Brush has dense, short and rounded bristles to smudge your liner or eye shadow for a smoky eye look and Wet n Wild nails the purpose here. I have no complaints with the efficacy of the brush. Despite the white bristles, they wash clean but the bristles lose the softness and silkiness in just one wash. They aren’t completely useless after the wash but, the quality deteriorates and the bristles don’t retain their shape and form.

Pros of Wet n Wild Smoky Liner Brush:

  • A low-cost smoky liner brush; affordable.
  • Good for beginners.
  • Dense, rounded and short bristles to work fast for a smoky eye look.
  • Can be used to smudge liner for a smoky eye.
  • Soft, silky and duo fibre bristles (as claimed by brand).
  • A groove on the handle for better control.
  • Aesthetically, white theme looks appealing.
  • Plastic case to keep the brush hygienic.
  • Cheap price tag.
  • Cleans easily and dries fast.
  • Easily available.

Cons of Wet n Wild Smoky Liner Brush:

  • Disappointing post wash as the bristles lose their silkiness and softness.
  • Bristles don’t retain shape post-washing.
  • Not a long lasting brush.

IMBB Rating: 3.5/5
Will I Recommend/Repurchase Wet n Wild Smoky Liner Brush?
Yes, I recommend the brush when I look at the price tag and since I don’t prefer eye makeup a lot, I will repurchase this if required because I don’t want to invest a lot of money in eye makeup brushes. However, do keep in mind that Wet n Wild smoky liner brush is not a long lasting brush and will be a waste of money if washed frequently.
