Wet n Wild Think Pink Mega Last Lip Color Review

I am back with another lipstick from WnW. Like I mentioned in my earlier posts, I hauled quite a bit of WnW stuff. Let’s get to the review!

My Experience with Wet n Wild Think Pink Mega Last Lip Color:

Packaging: The tube looks pretty simple and flimsy, but I think it’s cute and sturdy. The cap shuts click firmly and can be carried around. The shade name is given on a sticker at the bottom of the lipstick. The bullet is flat, unlike the conventional ones which make application trickier. Not a big fan of the bullet, but I kinda liked the Lakme 9 to 5 ones as they had sharp edges.

Shade: Think Pink is a milky, baby pink shade. This shade is not suitable for most Indian skin tones. This will suit only cool toned people, when worn with heavy eye makeup. It does not brighten up the face, in fact totally washes me out. I’d never ever step out wearing this. It is free from shimmers, though.

Texture and Pigmentation: The texture is same as that of Spotlight Red. It tugs while applying which is a turn off. Lips need to be exfoliated before applying and also I’d suggest a lip balm underneath. The texture is light and creamy. Pigmentation is on the sheer side, owing to the light color.

Lasting Power: Honestly, I just wiped it off too quickly! I looked like Nicki Minaj!! But, I think it will last upto 2 hours with all the transferring like the shade Spotlight Red. This one starts to bleed too, which is a big turn off for me. But, I was so amazed with the pretty stain it left behind. The stain was actually darker than the lip color itself. I was relieved that at least I could put this into some use.

NO! This can be skipped without a thought. Not a flattering shade at all!

I completely agree with this review and would advise all readers to stay away from the Wet n Wild Think Pink Mega Last Lip Color. The shade completely washes me out and makes me look like those cricketers with the white zinc sunscreen on☺. The formula is quite drying and tugs on the lips. Also, the packaging comes with my pet peeve – the lipstick does not swivel down completely and you end up with marks on the cap or nicking the bullet. In short – Avoid!!- Manaswini T
