Wet n Wild Under The Sheets Makeup Remover Towelettes Review

Hello to my beautiful friends,

Makeup remover wipes are a must-have in my vanity. They are so quick and hassle free, and great for cleansing on-the-go or for those lazy nights when directly jumping into the bed is the only thing you want rather than following the CTM routine. I loved my Neutrogena Hydrating Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes and was about to pick the same again when I spotted these towelettes from Wet n Wild, and the cute packaging lured me. 😉

My Experience with Wet n Wild Under The Sheets Makeup Remover Towelettes:

Wet n Wild Under the Sheets Makeup Remover Towelettes come in a plastic pouch which has interesting images on it making the packaging really cute. It has a sticker attached on the opening and not a plastic panel. I personally prefer the panel opening since it prevents wipes from drying out for long as the glue on the sticker may give away much before all the wipes are used up. I have faced this issue with my Neutrogena Night Calming towelettes where the glue gave away with half of the pack still remaining and I had to store it in a zip-lock to prevent the wipes from drying out. Though the glue of this pack seems really strong, I hope it lasts till I finish the pack.

The wipes are white in color and a bit smaller in size than the Neutrogena wipes. The wipes are not baby soft but are not even harsh or abrasive on the skin. These are plain wipes and not the exfoliating ones. They are thick enough to hold the cleanser and does not tear up during use. One towelette can be used from both the sides, but due to the smaller size, I need to use two different wipes for removing eye and face make up respectively.

Coming to the cleansing part, these wipes are not bad, but not super good either. They remove full fledged make-up too, easily. However, at least two wipes are required just to wipe the face clean (I am not talking about the eye make-up here!!). They are gentle on the eyes and I have used them to remove eyeliner and cajole from lower lash line and my waterline too and I did not face any discomfort. They did not sting nor did they cause any sort of irritation on my sensitive skin and eye area. It removes the basic eye makeup nicely but not the gel eyeliner and mascara, and nowadays, I am not wearing a waterproof mascara, so when it cannot remove washable mascara easily, waterproof will for sure have some difficulty coming off.

Wet n Wild under the sheets makeup remover towelettes have a light fragrance which fades away quickly. It does not leave any greasy layer or residue on my face, but at times, my face does feel a little sticky and I do need to wash it. As was the case with my Neutrogena wipes, I cannot just use them and hit the sack. They do not dry out my skin but I do need to apply a moisturizer afterwards as they themselves are not moisturizing. Also, they are not very wet. Though they do the cleaning job well, I feel a little more cleanser in them would have made the job a bit easier.

Overall, considering the price they come for, they are pretty good. I will not be repurchasing them again. There are so many new options in the market. 😉 But I will recommend it to you if you are looking for a budget-friendly alternative and also if you don’t wear heavy makeup on a daily basis.
