Wet n Wild Petal Pusher Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette Review

Wet n Wild Petal Pusher Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette

Hi Everyone, In the past, I have reviewed the Wet n Wild Color Icon Palette in Blue Had Me At Hello and Comfort Zone, but there is a third palette that is called Petal Pusher. This is my least favorite from this collection. It’s still nice and looks very beautiful. Now, let me talk about the colors. This palette has lots of purple and violet colors. I really thought this palette would be amazing, but I was kind of disappointed. Most of the colors aren’t so pigmented and some of the eyeshadows are the ones that they  sell in other palettes. I’m not sure if I regret buying this palette or not. I honestly think that this is not comparable to high-brand makeup due to the lack of pigmentation. It’s very sad I know, but I really love the other two palettes in this collection.

Wet n Wild Petal Pusher Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette

On the Left Side:

First color is a matte white and appears very sheer.
Second color is a soft purple with a tiny amount of golden shimmer.
Third Color is a dark purple with a metallic finish.
Fourth and last color in this row is a bluish purple with lots of shimmer.

On the Right Side:

First color is a shimmery soft pink.
Second color is a cranberry color with golden shimmer.
Third color is a really dark cherry color with shimmer.
Fourth color is a black with silver shimmer.

Pros of the Wet n Wild Petal Pusher Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette:

  • Really cheap for the amount of product you’re getting.
  • Perfect smokey eye palette.
  • Comes with a brush.

Cons of Wet n Wild Petal Pusher Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette:

  • Almost all color are NOT so pigmented.
  • Some colors in this palette are the ones that I already have in one of their other palettes.
  • Packaging is really weak (one color actually fell out).

My Opinion about Wet n Wild Petal Pusher Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette:

Do not buy this palette unless you’re okay with eyeshadows that aren’t pigmented. I’m not saying all colors are sheer, but most of them are sheer. Now to something more exciting. I used the first 5 colors on the picture to create a smokey look. Since the pigmentation is sheer, I used the NYX Jumbo Pencil in milk as a base.

EOTD Using Wet n Wild Petal Pusher Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette:

Step One:

Use an eyeshadow primer to prevent it from creasing and to make it last all day. I used the Elf Mineral Eyeshadow Primer.

Step Two:

Use NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk all over the eyelid and make sure its blended out evenly.

Step Three:

Use the second color on the left side and put it on your eyelid staying underneath the crease with a fluffy eyeshadow brush. Make sure to pack it on since this color is really sheer.

Step Four:

eotd3

Take the fourth color in the first row and apply it on your crease using a crease brush or blending brush in circular motion and not like a windshield wiper. Then, take the first highlight color and apply it under your browbone.

Step Five:

eotd4

To darken the crease a little bit, take the same brush you just used and take the third color in the row and apply it on your crease. After that, take another brush and apply the first color on the second row of this palette (shimmery soft pink) and apply that underneath your browbone.

Step Six:

eotd5

I like it more dramatic than this.  If you do want, go ahead and take your blending brush and take the third color again and darken your crease even more.

Step Seven:

eotd6

Take your favorite eyeliner, mascara and eye pencil and finish the smokey eye. Please notice that I only used the black eye pencil from the outer corner of my bottom lashline to the middle of bottom lashline. This tends to make my eyes look fresh and awake.

Step Eight:

Take your favorite concealer and clean all the glitter that might have fallen down and you are done!!!!
