My Experience with YSL Le Nude #70 Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick:

I am obsessed with YSL lipsticks. The formula is hands-down one of my favourite lipstick formulas. It’s comfortable on lips, pigmented and leaves a beautiful stain behind that doesn’t make your lips look flat after the lipstick is worn off ! The colours I got are #1 Le Rouge and and #70 Le Nude.

The packaging is absolutely stunning. It is a gold colour tube which feels very high-end and luxe, you may feel that the top of it may be rough because of the glitter but it’s not, it feels absolutely smooth and you don’t even have to worry about glitters getting rubbed off from the packaging – it’s going to stay the way it is. It’s heavy and steady, feels absolutely luxurious. The bullet of the lipstick has stars on it….that’s so pretty!!

It has the typical YSL fruity-flowery scent and the scent doesn’t even fade away.

I have photographed both the shades Le Rouge and Le Nude in this post.

#70 Le Nude is a medium rose beige with warm undertones, it is not as pigmented as the Le Rouge lipstick. The formula is semi opaque. This shade will suit light to medium skin tones. The formula has satin finish and feels very comfortable on the lips. The staying power is around 2 to 3 hours on my lips.

Pros of YSL Le Nude #70 Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick:

• Very festive packaging, especially the stars on the bullet make it look super luxe.
• The formula is very comfortable to wear, its hydrating and does not accentuate any dry patches.
• Fades evenly and leaves a beautiful stain behind.
• Beautiful colour range, there is something for everyone.
• Pretty long lasting considering it is from the satin finish range. It leaves a pretty stain behind which won’t leave your lips looking flat.
• These shades are available in the permanent line, you can grab them anytime you want, but unfortunately, the packaging is limited edition. So, if you are a collector like me, it’s a must-have in your stash!

Cons of YSL Le Nude #70 Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick:

• Its expensive!
• Availability in India, but you can get YSL cosmetics in Delhi duty free.

I enjoy YSL lipstick formula, I will definitely purchase more shades. Yes, it’s pricey but it’s worth every penny!
