Yummy DIY Chocolate Coffee Lip Scrub

Yummy DIY Chocolate Coffee Lip Scrub

I have totally switched to drinking the French Press coffee. So i always have coffee left over in the pot. I thought I’d do a quick DIY with some coffee and chocolate. πŸ˜€

Here is what you need :

  • Half teaspoon of sugar
  • Half teaspoon of left over coffee
  • 2-3 drops of honey
  • 2-3 drops of olive oil
  • 2-3 drops of chocolate essence (optional but it makes it super yummyy smelling)

You don’t have to be very specific with the measurements. Everything is natural here so it is okay if you want to increase or decrease anything in your lip scrub. πŸ™‚

Mix everything. It smells yummm. Mine turned out to be a little liquidy but it worked just fine. My coffee was a little wet that’s why.Β I scrubbed my lips using this and it left my lips sooooo soft and completely free of flakes. Follow up with a lip balm. Store the rest in the fridge. It should be okay for 3-4 days.

Give it a go. :))

  1. Same here Monika πŸ˜› I will end up eating the whole Bournville πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ then, if some of it is still left..I might think of this…but this is indeed a yummm and amazing scrub…I can imagine the softness and moisture that it will impart to the lips πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ very apt for the harsh north winters πŸ™‚

  2. I will end up using this as a snack recipe surely! πŸ˜€ what an awesome & simple to implement idea! *thumbs up* Love it!
