My Experience with Yves Rocher Coconut Body Lotion:
The body lotion has a major component from plant extract making it a botanical product. Please note it is not organic. They also test on animals. The body lotion, comes in a small round plastic container with a flap lid. The packaging is very sturdy. The flip lid sometimes gets little tough to open, as its little tight. It can easily damage the nails. But, its travel safe since there is no chance that the flap would open up automatically. The bottle is also transparent, making it easy to know the amount of product left during the duration of usage.
The consistency of the product is creamy. It is white in color. I use twice the walnut size for my entire body. The lotion spreads very easily on the skin. The skin feels satin smooth during application. The product leaves the skin extremely soft and silky. I am a coconut lover. I love anything and everything with coconut. As I have picked up the body wash from the same product I had to pick the body lotion too. I have seen that they work great together. The fragrance, is quite dominant but not over whelming. One can distinctly smell the fragrance of tropical coconuts but in a good way.
It makes one smell sweet. The fragrance also lasts whole day and more. This happens only with this brand. It’s a perfect body lotion for the summer or spring months. The lotion no way feels oily or greasy. Once applied on to the skin it gets absorbed within few seconds leaving your skin soft and smooth. The finish on the skin is not the glossy oily finish but matte powdery finish. I also feel, it will not be best for extremely cold temperatures. I don’t see it very moisturizing during winter months. I am currently using it and its autumn here and have no problems. Overall, it’s a good product with good results.
