My Experience with Yves Rocher Pure Calmille Cleansing Wipes:

Yves Rocher Pure Calmille Cleansing Wipes Review4

The makeup wipes come in a white colored packaging with a picture of Calmille flowers. The plastic cover comes with an adhesive opening on the top which can be opened and closed easily. It’s similar to the baby wipes packaging. It closes tightly, leaving no openings. These openings usually cause the wipes to dry out, but the glue part is pretty effective. But eventually, it will not stick as expected. The wipes have a very mild, pleasant smell of calmille which is not overwhelming.

The wipes are moist enough to work but, I always sprinkle a few drops of water on the wipes and then wipe out my makeup. I feel it’s easy to work with these wipes when they’re moister. I also use the same trick for the last few wipes in the pocket. The last few wipes are not as moist as they are supposed to be. The size of the wipe is just as small as the size of my palm. It’s much smaller than the wipes I have used till now. Due to this, I need 2 wipes to remove the makeup completely from my face, eyes and neck (not on regular days but for party makeup or heavy makeup).

The material of the wipe feels not very soft on the skin. It stretches well like an elastic and doesn’t tear while using them. The wipe is moist, but it is not dripping wet. I use only water soluble makeup and it removes the makeup after a little bit of muscle work. As you can see from the pictures, I had to wipe the makeup a few times to remove the makeup completely. The most irritating part of the product is that it stings. Yes, they claim that the product is alcohol-free and very mild but, believe me, it stings when you test it on your hand too. And, I am not sure if it’s the content itself or the material of the wipes.

The product claims that you don’t have to wash your face after using these wipes. But, I just cannot skip doing that. No matter what product I use to remove my makeup, I always wash my face with a face wash. But, my face feels clean after using the wipes alone. I have sensitive skin and the product has not caused any breakouts till now. Overall, it’s not really a worth buying product. I still prefer my Bebe wipes. Oh yes! One more thing, the package contains only 20 wipes while all other drug store brands have a minimum of 25 wipes.

Will I Recommend/Repurchase Yves Rocher Pure Calmille Cleansing Wipes?
No way. It stings and is not really easy to work with. It’s not worth the money and the pain. The drug store ones are much cheaper and better.
