My Experience With Za True White Emulsion:

I have oily to combination skin which is prone to have breakouts during summer. So my summer skin care products tend to be more lightweight and mostly water based. Despite my skin being on the oilier side, I always make it a point to hydrate it sufficiently in order to prevent it from looking dull. For this purpose, a serum is a must in my daily skin care ritual after cleansing and toning. I was happy with my Olay brightening serum until I wanted to try something new. After reading rave reviews about other Za true white range products, I finally zeroed on this one.

Za True White Emulsion

The product comes in a sleek white and pink bottle with a screw cap, having signature Za curved design. The screw cap shuts tightly and I never faced any spillage of product while travelling. The bottle has a dispenser which works well and all you have to do to get the product out, is to pat the bottle opening on your palm a few times. So the packaging department gets a big thumbs up from me.

Za True White Emulsion

Now coming to the actual product, it is basically a milky white water based liquid with a little runny consistency. It gets spread on face amazingly and takes little time to get completely absorbed. The product smells heavenly like any high end skin care brand and lingers for sometimes which feels pure luxury. As it claims, it is really light weight in texture and at the same time it provides my skin the right dose of hydration.

Za True White Emulsion

I generally use it twice daily in between toning and moisturizing. A pea sized amount is all you need for your entire face. My skin is really enjoying the goodness of this product since the past three weeks and showing some noticeable results as well. My skin feels a lot more supple and hydrated. Sometimes, I don’t even feel the need of applying a separate moisturizer. I do see it working on my acne scars to some extent and it has definitely improved my overall skin texture and complexion.

To summarize, it’s a delight to use this emulsion in hot summer days and it will surely work on winters too with a separate moisturizer. It is suitable for all skin types. Though the whitening claim is not true, it fulfills all the other aspects of using a good serum.

Summing up the pros and cons for a quick reference…

Pros Of Za True White Emulsion:

• Lightweight, water based texture, perfect for oily combination skin.
• Hydrates quite well, brightens, lightens scars, improves overall skin quality.
• Brilliant travel friendly and hygienic packaging.
• Little goes a long way. So 125 ml product will last for a really long time.
• I found the pricing to be cheaper than other serums available in the market.
• Never broke my sensitive skin out.

Cons Of Za True White Emulsion:

• Though it brightens the skin to a great extent with regular use, the whitening claim doesn’t seem to be true.
• Some may not like the floral fragrance of the product.

IMBB Rating: 4.9/5 (-.1 for the false whitening claim)

  1. I have a very dry, sensitive skin so I tend to need ultra hydrating products for my skin otherwise I get a weird patchy skin. I’ve never used a serum or an emulsion for my skin ever, but I guess after your experience, I must buy this one Anurima 😀

  2. You have reviewed it so well Anurima. I am going to get it too after reading this. But, usually I stay away from products that make whitening claims. :/

  3. Aww thanks Shikha 🙂 Though this product claims to whiten the skin tone, but it actually brightens and makes complexion more even and clear. So you can try this without worries 😀
Even I have sensitive skin Garima but touchwood this product never triggered a single breakout. Also, this is definitely more hydrating than all other serums I have used in the past. So ideal for your dry skin.. u should give it a try 😀
