Today’s review is about Zoeva 98 Luxe Contour Artist Brush. Nowadays all we see on Instagram or in beauty magazines is contouring. Makeup is all about contouring. But, to be honest, I get intimidated by contouring because I am a novice. So, to headstart my contouring journey, I wanted to have the right tools. Hence, I bought this contouring brush through the IMBB sponsored product scheme.

My Experience with Zoeva 98 Luxe Contour Artist Brush:
For easy contouring, place the brush at the center of the ear, guide towards the tip of the nose and stop shortly below the corner of the eye. Lightly whisk the color remaining on the brush under the chin and on the hairline. Is it really that simple? I tried it with the brush, and the results are always pretty impressive.
The packaging is neat. It comes in a zip lock pouch which can be reused for brushes during travels. There is also a plastic sleeve attached to the brush to keep the bristles secure, which I don’t reuse. The zip lock pouch is very sturdy and useful. I have used similar pouches from Zoeva during travels and they still look new.
The brush is black in color with silver hardware. All my brushes are in the same color palette and this one matches well to my existing collection. The bristles are white in color. The bristles are a mix of synthetic and animal hair. I don’t prefer brushes with animal hair since animal hair contains protein component or allergen elements. It also needs proper care. I am very lazy and wash all my brushes once in a while with a shampoo. But now this one brush has to be washed and dried with proper care.
I have washed the brush once just to check if it sheds, but it’s very stable. It did not shed during washing and also after that. I also air dried it and it retained its shape immediately after drying. The brush has a silhouette which facilitates the process of contouring. This is my first contouring brush and hence I have no reference to compare it with. I took a little bit of darker contouring powder product and applied it as mentioned above. The brush is easy to hold and use. The brush can also be used for blushes and bronzers, making it multipurpose. Overall I am satisfied with the brush and will continue to use it regularly.
