Hello all,
I am back with review of a few more nail polishes from Zoya – the shades that I am reviewing today are Nana, Kalista and Talia. Read on to find out more.
Price:
$9 each.
Product Description:
Zoya is the healthy color of fashion. Big 5 free formula over 300 ultra-long wearing, toxin free nail polish to choose from.
My Experience with Zoya Professional Nail Lacquer – Nana, Kalista and Talia:
Packaging: Zoya nail polishes come in a sturdy glass bottle with a black cap. The packaging is quite jazz-free and comes across as very minimalistic, but it is quite effective.
Brush Applicator: The brush is good and picks up a good quantity of the nail polish. The application is easy and smooth too.
Drying Power: The nail polish dries pretty quickly. Even 2 coats dry out fast.
Staying Power: The staying power on these nail polishes is very good and polish easily stays on my nails for 4-5 days before it starts fading.
Now, for some detailed review of each of the colors:
1. Nana: Nana by Zoya can be best described as a deep summer fuchsia in a full coverage and densely pigmented cream formula. Nana is a gorgeous shade which instantly brightens up my hands. This is a shade which will suit all skin tones and is a very fun and flirty summer shade.
It applies okay in one coat but you do need two coats to even it out and get rid of any visible nail line. The finish is a glossy crème.
2. Kalista: Kalista by Zoya can be best described as a dark espresso brown with plum-purple undertones and strong golden shimmer. This is a very glamourous shade and it looks different in different light settings.
It looks brown indoors and a shimmery plum-brown in the sun. A beautiful fall shade indeed. Again, 2 coats are needed for an even opaque finish.
3. Talia: Talia by Zoya can be best described as a true turquoise in a full coverage, densely pigmented cream formula. This is again a very summery color and transports me to the beach and all things sea.
The finish is a glossy crème and the polish looks quite bright on the nails. This might not suit all skintones but those who like shades of blue will surely love it.
This shade is highly pigmented and covers the nails in a single swipe. It also stains the nails horribly and I would advise you to use a base coat always.
Pros of Zoya Professional Nail Lacquer – Nana, Kalista and Talia:
- Nice shades of nail polishes.
- Good staying power (4-5 days).
- Dries very fast.
- Good consistency of polish, applies well.
- Free from harmful ingredients like Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde resin, Toluene, Camphor and Dibutyl Phthalates.
Cons of Zoya Professional Nail Lacquer – Nana, Kalista and Talia:
- Slightly on the expensive side.
- The shade “Talia” stains the nails pretty badly.
IMBB Rating:
4/5
