Do’s and Don’ts for people with pink eye:

• Avoid touching your eyes as it will further irritate your condition and could make it worse. Wash your hands every time you touch your eyes.
• Include vitamin A in your diet which consists of milk products, tomatoes and mangoes.
• Avoid using eye makeup. If you wear make-up, don’t share it with anyone. It can transfer your infection to them.
• Do not wear contact lenses until the infection is cured.
• Wear eye protection when in the wind, heat, or cold to prevent eye irritation.

These tips would have really helped me last year when I had pink eye. Did not knew about them then. Anyway with monsoon coming, and all sorts of infection on a high,  I would defiantly keep them in mind.
