When you lose too much weight in short span of time, then our body considers it as trauma and it withholds nutrients from non-essential tissues and ultimately resulting in hair loss. So, losing weight too fast may result in hair loss issue but if you eat right then you will gain that lost volume.

4. Poor scalp health:

If our scalp is unhealthy or if you have got a recurring issue of dandruff, then it might lead your hair to fall. Use a good anti-dandruff shampoo, whenever you notice flare-ups.

Yes, it is true that too much washing can lead to natural hair stripping off of our scalp but under washing can lead to dry and itchy scalp, which can definitely be one of the many causes of hair fall.

6. Regularly wearing tight hairstyles:

Styling your hair too tight in a bun, ponytail or braiding over extended period of time, can cause trauma to the follicles and cause them to fall. After sometime you may feel you are losing hair volume, along the edges of the scalp.

Our hair strands are made of protein and benefit greatly by protein. If you are not having any proteins in your diet or you have the deficiency of it, then our body may ration protein by shutting down hair growth. Low levels of vitamin B are another correctible cause of hair loss. You can have lots of fruits, veggies, lean protein, avocadoes and nuts to address this issue.

9. You’re not getting enough iron:

Women between the ages of 19 and 50 should get 18 mg of iron per day, and women 51 and older should get 8 mg per day. Instead of taking supplements without a prescription, try incorporating iron rich foods like spinach, soybeans or lentils in your diet.

10. You just gave birth:

Your body goes through countless changes during pregnancy and once you give birth, you begin to lose all the hair that you should have lost during pregnancy because of all the hormonal changes. Well, do not worry about that, have proper food and your hair would grow out in a few months’ time.
