Not sure about others, But I had booked Sumanta Bhattacharya for my wedding makeup. Very unprofessional, He doesn’t know how to behave with his client. Guys whoever is following this blog. Requesting you all not to book him. He is one of the fake artist, No one liked my makeup in my wedding. My complexion is fair but he made me look dark on my D day. Very depressing! He took 12k from me (7k in advanced) and 5k cash! But poor service, he stayed for half an hour or so, have not completed the full makeup. He bought two of his colleague (who is not even well known person) for applying chandan, saree draping and hair styling. I paid 12k by researching and looking at his work and very pathetic service from both of them as well. Guys, he ruined my D day. But requesting all of you not to trust anyone by looking at these kind of blogs.

I want to mention about Subham Chakraborty. Another very unprofessional artist. I had requested for him looking at his instagram account. First of all, guy takes 2 days to reply to a text. When he finally agreed to do my make up, I called him to talk further. He was very curt on the phone like I was disturbing him from something important. I even asked if it was a good time to talk. He was dismissive and rude. Anyway , I finally asked, about hair styles as i feel my face structure is not suited for most typical bengali hair styles..and I asked him for samples. He got offended and said, I don’t send samples like that, thank you. And he hung up. I was so surprised at this behavior. I thought it was common to ask for portfolio of work if you are retaining someone’s services. I mean, however of a good or talented artist someone is- they have no right to be in the service industry if they are lack basic professional courtesy!
