I have reviewed 2True Cosmetics Matte Lipstick in two other shades 03 and 05. So far, 05 has been my favourite. Today’s shade is a red, but it is hardly matte. I think it is apt to call these lipsticks as creamy matte.

My Experience with 2True Cosmetics Matte Lipstick – Shade 4:
I think the hydrating claim is very true. This lipstick is never chalky or dry like they say but, the pigment is quite strong. I wouldn’t say this is very long lasting but, it is good enough. It is very moist and the lips never feel dry. My lips feel soft and moist. In two swipes, I get an intense payoff from this lipstick. The shade 4 is a warm kind of red and this never looks gaudy on the lips.
The lipstick does not feel thick; in one swipe, it feels very light to wear. On me, it lasts till I eat a meal. This smells like a coconut and I don’t like the fragrance.
Personally, for this kind of a matte lipstick, I like to blot, powder it and reapply for a good opacity and intensity. Overall, this is not my perfect red, but still a good lipstick for the cost.

- Could have lasted longer.

Not this shade. This is nothing exceptional to look out for. For the shade, 5 is awesome.
