Skin tone: Medium to dusky
Today, I am going to talk about the first ever lip tint that I purchased. It is the “3CE Water Tint” in the shade “Dark Fuchsia”. So, let’s get started with the review.
Price: $22 AUD or 1130 INR for 8 ml
A classic dewy tint of which a single drop maintains vivid lip color all day. Tints that were previously drying and messy have been remedied to provide a now – hydrating tinge of unchanging color.
The true classic dark fuchsia. Now available in a shade of tints with clear and vivid color works as both an everyday and statement lip color.
My Experience with 3CE Water Tint Dark Fuchsia:
This tint comes in a pretty cute packaging. It comes housed in a transparent cylindrical tube with a black cap. It looks more like an elegant nail polish. There is also an outer black cardboard box with the product details. The box also has a fuchsia band at the top which represents the tint shade.
This line has 4 shades of tints: dark red, dark orange, dark pink and dark fuchsia. I picked the shade Dark Fuchsia which is a gorgeous deep reddish pink shade and it looks quite stunning on the lips. This color will look good on all the skin tones and will take any makeup look to the next level.
The formula of this tint is very much watery, as described by the brand. Since it is watery, it is easy to apply and also requires more swipes to fill the entire lips with color. The pigmentation of this tint is very intense and gives a look of freshly bitten lips, which is quite nice and different. This product dries up in a jiffy and gives more of a satin matte finish with a sheen on the lips, post drying.
As the time passes, the tint feels very drying on the lips and also fills in the lip lines and makes the lips look pathetic. Though this is the case, we can easily reapply the tint and the lips start to feel all the more fresh and comfortable once again.
The staying power of this product is amazing; it stays the whole day without moving and withstands even food and water. There is no major transfer with this tint. It is pretty much transfer-proof and smudge-proof. At the end of the day, even though it fades, it pretty much looks like a full on lip stain. The removal of this lip tint is a major pain; I needed 3 different types of cleansers to remove it completely from the lips especially from the lip lines.
Overall, I like this tint. It is a pretty decent product which pretty much lives up to its claims.
Pros of 3CE Water Tint Dark Fuchsia:
• Pretty packaging
• Gorgeous reddish pink shade
• Watery consistency
• Satin matte finish with a shine
• Insane pigmentation
• Can be re-applied easily
Cons of 3CE Water Tint Dark Fuchsia:
• Dries the lips
• Accentuates lip lines
• Removing it is a pain
