I was going through my photograph archives and I found these photos of the Gucci Nail Paints I clicked a while back. I use these nail paints all the time and they are still in their top condition even after a year. So I thought it would only be fitting to share these beauties with you all. 🙂 I have a few more so I’d share those in a few days.
Claims : The Bold High-Gloss Lacquer combines a state of the art formula and an innovative brush for a luxurious manicure experience. The specialized triangular-bristle brush provides impeccable, even coverage with each stroke, while the pigment-saturated nail polish results in a glossy, high-shine look.
Price : USD 29
The 4 nail paints shown in the post are
Siam Red : A gorgeous black based red with red shimmers. It sometimes looks black with a hint of red and sometimes more reddish than black depending on the lighting. It’s a fabulous color if you like wearing gothic nails sometimes.
Prussian Blue : It is a deep blue with turquoise, navy and purple shimmer all over. A hint of purple gives that beautiful mysterious quality to an otherwise regular blue nail paint. Really pretty one.
Iconic Gold : True to its name it is a gorgeous antique gold nail paint with. The shimmer in this nail paint is in various shades of gold and that makes it truely unique.
Black Gold : It’s a black nail paint with a very prominent gold and reddish copper shimmer throughout.
All the 4 shades are unique and intensity of the pigment give them that molten metal like quality. Gucci nail paints come packed in these sturdy square glass bottles. The black square cap has a Gucci’s pattern embossed on it and the top has a double ‘G’ logo stamped on it. A very classic and a luxurious packaging. The brush is neither thin nor thick but is of very good quality. It fans out just fine on the nail and makes for an easy application.
The nail paints feel creamy on application. Although one coat is quite pigmented on its own but it’s the two coats that bring out the true intensity of the nail color. The shimmers are beautifully blended in the nail polish and do not feel chunky or coarse on application.
I have never found these nail paints chipping even after 5-6 days of wear. Most of the time I get bored of wearing these so I change the nail paint. I wouldn’t call these the most quick drying nail polishes. I’d say they have the average drying time of 2-3 minutes. These are high shine nail paints and the shine pretty much stays throughout. I’d say that after 3 days, you could put another coat on top to freshen things up. None of the 4 shades shown have any problems with streaking during application.
I have had these for more than a year and these are still in their perfect condition. That really says something about their high quality. I’d definitely pick more from the range.
