My Experience with Coloressence Color Your Spirit Nail Color – Apple Red, Vallentine, Brick Red, Cotton Candy, Island Green:

Packaging: These nail paints come in the usual clear glass bottles with a black cap. I am not very impressed with the packaging as it looks a little dull. But if I consider its price then it is ok. Otherwise, these are totally travel-friendly. The names of the shades are mentioned on their respective caps, which is great. The applicator brush is very thin hence a little difficult to work with. I need to swipe the brush a few times to get that perfect, even application.

Shades: I have picked up five shades from this vast range. All the shades are pigmented and they look beautiful on the nails. Two coats nicely cover my nails and look nice. I really like the shade range. The shades that I have picked up do not contain any shimmer. Let’s read about each one of them:

Apple Red
It is a very pretty coral red shade that looks so bright on all skin tones. I absolutely love this pretty shade.
Apple Red

Vallentine
This is a dark bold wine red shade that looks so gorgeous and it also looks nice on all skin tones.
Vallentine

Brick Red
It is a beautiful warm rusty brown shade. It is not a red so don’t why it’s named brick ‘red’. But this is my favourite shade and it looks so pretty on my hands.

Cotton Candy
As the name suggests, this one is a very cute candy pink shade and it looks lovely on the nails. It looks amazing on even short nails.
Cotton Candy

Island Green
It is a very fresh summery light sea green shade. I love this unique pastel green shade and it suits all skin tones.

Texture and Quality: The texture of these nail paints is pretty nice. The nail paints have medium to thin consistency that glides so easily on the nails. Due to its thin brush, the perfect application takes time yet the finish is smooth and does not feel heavy or patchy. All the shades have a shiny glossy finish that looks very nice. The nail paint dries out quickly and doesn’t need a long time to settle, yet I prefer to be careful for around first five minutes. The quality is really good according to the price. I have been using these for over 6-7 months now and I can still apply these without any issue. The texture has become a little thick now but then that happens with all nail paints.

Staying Power: All of these shades have a good staying power. The gloss starts to fade after 3-4 days yet the color looks nice. These nail paints do not chip on their own. But, if you do heavy chores, they might chip a little. But, overall, these stay on for around a week. These are easy to remove too and never scratch my nails. Also, these do not leave any stain behind.
