5 Hot Trends for Ethnic Suits

5 Hot Trends for Ethnic Suits

Hi People There!
It feels so relaxed to have been writing for IMBB after a hiatus of falling sick! I so missed you people and your lovely comments and suggestions.

Okay! Back to real agenda ๐Ÿ˜›
I have been observing quite a different trend in ethnic wear these days. Sarees have always been evolving to our cultural traditions but suits have had a different marquee. Designer Pakistani Suits have emerged a hit these days in exhibitions and are surely here to stay.
Here are the different unique styles that have been doing the rounds :
Jacketed

1. Jacketed :

This is an old trend. And as they say, Fashion is Renaissance. Small breasted jackets are gaining popularity. Carrying loose dupatta around accentuates this look. Karisma Kapoor has been endorsing these in the neighbouring country. These jackets can be closed or opened in front. You can get these jackets done in Chanderi or in Velvet as well, depending on the season. This is a plus one over the over dose of Anarkalis in the market. Plus one women should be very cautious.

Jacketed

Asymmetrical

2. A symmetrical :

Anarkalis have a symmetry around. The kalis are adorned with an inside โ€“ outside pattern in a flowy way with symmetry in the bottom. This was passรฉ. The new casual way is to let the kalis flow in a casual. However, the rule of slim fitting till the half of the midriff is also prevalent here. A simple advice to all you here is to avoid net sleeves. They spoil the elegance of the look. You can try chiffon (not pure chiffon) or georgette for the sleeves. I got it stitched myself for an occasion. I am not a big fan of studs work. I like keeping it simple. I chose Georgette (for kameez) and Cotton (for churidar) . Please tell how did it look to you (I am the one in Red, with my dear siso)!

without slits

3. Without Slits :

For suits for most of casual styling, try experimenting with ones that are without slits. Keep the length of the kurti just about till the knee. Make sure this is well fit and have a zipped attached to enable a friendly wear. Get the bottomwear stitched in churidar only. Do not opt for Shantoon fabric for the churidars. They are good for the Anarkalis but not here, you will always get an ill fitting with Shantoon.
Emroidery On Arm

4. Embroidery on Arms

Another โ€œdesignerโ€ trend that will make big is simplicity throughout the cut and color of the kameez, and statement work on the arm of the ensemble. Low neck cuts would compliment this to counter on the โ€œmajesticโ€ look on the arm work. This isp also valid for the saree blouses.
Digital Prints

5. Digital Prints

These are computerized prints taken out in various styles and clubbed together to create a different vivacious look. These are gowny in the sense that they have full length of the kameez. The cloth is stiff with the neck having a robust collar look. Petite women should avoid such styles. Another word of caution to all my readers here is to carefully select the digital print. Most of the prints look like โ€œbed sheetโ€ inspired. I am sure you would not want to dust your wardrobe with these in the end!

So, here it is!
