5 Inexpensive Secrets to Perfect Skin

By Vanya

Hello beauties!

Now, who doesn’t want  perfect skin? Of course we all do! But most amazing products are expensive, and also not meant for certain skin types. So leave all chemicals behind, and stick to this all natural guide, that will surely give you  perfect skin, without wasting any of your money.

5 Inexpensive Secrets to Perfect Skin 1
1- Water:

Somebody said it right, “Pure, clear water is the world’s best beauty elixir!” Believe me or not, there is nothing better that would work for your skin other  than drinking tons of water. At least, have 2 litres of water every single day. It helps remove toxins from your body and keeps skin moisturized. Take a one week challenge, and force yourself to drink as much water possible. You will see a vast difference, and your skin will surely clear up.

2- Olive Oil:

From Italian actresses to the very beautiful lady, Miranda Kerr, Olive oil has been everyone’s favorite. It’s cheap, yet filled with antioxidants and is super momoisturizing. It’s one simple yet the most effective product for your hair, skin and body.

How I use Olive Oil:

I have been using olive oil for almost more than a month now, and my skin is better than it could ever be. I use the one from Aloe Veda. Every day, before I go to sleep, I use 4-5 drops on my face (after using face wash)and lips, and also some on my hands. It gets easily absorbed after a little while. Wake up in the morning, and my skin feels amazing. Also, please use ‘Extra Virgin’ Olive Oil.

3- D.I.Y Face Mask:

The market is full of face masks, both cheap and expensive. But why waste money on something that you can make in your own house! This facemask is suitable for all skin types and you can use it everyday in the shower.

You will need:

~Besan (gram flour) – 1tbsp (helps to clean the face)
~Turmeric – ¼ tbsp (helps remove tan)
~Curd – ½ tbsp (provides moisture)
~Lemon juice- ½ tbsp (provides vitamin C)
~ Honey/rose water- 1 tbsp (helps fight acne)
Just mix all the ingredients together and apply on the face and neck, wait till it dries and wash off.

4- D.I.Y Face Scrub:

It’s necessary to use a face scrub on your face, at least once or maximum twice a week. Just three steps, and you can make your own scrub, which is best one for winters.

You will need:

~Sugar (granulated)- ½ tbsp
~Olive oil – ½ tbsp
~ Honey ½ tbsp

Mix them together, and apply on the face in a circular motion, but don’t be too harsh. Wash off. This will help you face feel moisturized and cleaned. Use it at night, before going to sleep.

5: Invest in a good face wash and sunscreen:

Face wash is really essential as it helps you get rid of excess oil and dirt on your face. However, make sure you know your skin type well and then pick the product wisely. On the other hand, buy a moisturizer with sunscreen in it. Sunscreen should be applied everyday, even if it’s cloudy. Investing in a good sunscreen today, will help you fight UV rays and fine lines.

Face washes I recommend:

For acne prone skin/normal skin: The Body Shop Tea Tree Face Wash

For sensitive/dry skin: The Body Shop Vitamin E Facewash

Sunscreen I recommend:

Neutrogena Ultra sheer dry touch sunscreen with SPF 50 PA+++.

Apart from these, it is really necessary for one to have a healthy diet and exercise regularly, to get glowing skin. Remember, what you put inside your body, reflects on your skin on the outside.

Hope you found this helpful. Have a lovely day!

xoxo

  1. Hi !! I have dry skin, can I am using The body shop aloe Vera face wash?? Is that good or should I change to Vitamin E face wash??

    1. hey! even i have dry skin! i haven’t tried the body shop aloe vera facewash yet, but the vitamin E facewash is really good. i used it for more than year, read the review of it for more details! hope it helps 🙂

  2. I don’t know about olive oil, but from what I have been reading in several beauty articles, Miranda Kerr uses Rose Hip Seed Oil as (part of?) her beauty routine, hence, there was surge of sales of that carrier oil since her magazine interview.

Why “invest” in a “store-bought face wash” when home made DIY’s are much, much better? The former is so chemically-laden with ingredients that one can hardly pronounce, so why put it on your face? Just askin’.

    1. hey! first off, yes olive oil works wonders and about investing in a good facewash and sunscreen, its my personal recommendation, and the body shop products are paraben free. you can surely use a DIY facewash 🙂
