Here’s another post, with five wonderful and all natural home remedies for skin lightening. If you have issues like dark spots, patches or deep skin pigmentation, you can use any of these remedies. With consistent use, these remedies are known to be effective in reducing the pigmentation and the end results are impressive, but remember, consistency is the key!
Let’s begin with the recipes now.
1. Papaya and Honey Skin Lightening Pack:
Mix a teaspoon of honey with a cup of freshly chopped papaya pieces and blend it well in to a paste. Once you have the paste ready, apply it as a face pack on to your face, this can be generously used on your body as well. Let it stay until dry and wash off with cold water. Doing this remedy as frequently as possible, can give you positive results in a very short time. Papaya has benefits of anti-aging, skin lightening, exfoliation and skin repair. Honey acts as a complexion boost, as it is extremely moisturizing and soothing, so it helps create a glow.
2. Carrot Skin Lightening Pack for Dry Skin:
Boil a carrot well and mash it in to a paste. Add a teaspoon of milk cream/malai, a few drops of vitamin E oil and lemon juice to the paste. Blend all ingredients well, to form a fine paste and apply it generously to your face and anywhere where you have dry patches. This remedy not only lightens skin but also fixes dry patches on the skin. The benefits of carrot for the skin are due to the abundant amounts of Vitamin A and other antioxidants which protect against various skin problems and help in maintaining skin health.
3. Orange and Milk Skin Lightening Pack for Oily Skin:
Orange peel powder has great benefits for oily skin. You can use orange peel to treat various types of skin problems, including acne, oily skin, blackheads, blemishes, uneven skin tone and so on. And this remedy is especially used to lighten skin pigmentation in oily skin. Mix orange peel powder with equal amounts of milk and honey to form a paste. Apply on face and neck, wash off with cold water once dry. You can also gently scrub it off. Use this face pack twice a week for best results.
4. Almond and Yogurt Skin Lightening Pack:
Soak some almonds overnight, peel off the skin. Now grind the almonds with adequate amount of milk enough to make a fine paste. Cleanse your face well and apply this pack all over your face and neck. This remedy needs to be followed every day for at least 3-4 weeks for visible results. Almonds are considered a beauty food because of high volume of vitamin E found in them. Vitamin E is termed as beauty vitamin for it skin nourishing and rejuvenating power.
5. Wild Turmeric Overnight Skin Lightening:
Mix a teaspoon of wild turmeric (also known as Kasthuri Manjal, and this kind does not stain your skin) with rose water. Before going to bed, cleanse your face well, apply this paste over your face and neck, let it on for about 15 minutes and wash off with plain cold water. Cleanse your face with a gentle cleanser first thing in the morning and use sunscreen without fail. Follow this regularly for a few days to observe a difference. Wild turmeric contains curcumin, which discourages melanin production thus lightens the skin.
